Hard to believe ten years have already passed since the Sept, 11th attacks. I can still remember the first time I visited the Trade Center as a kid on a school field trip. I remember how the elevators took us up to the top really fast and how we made our way over to the windows where we all looked out over Manhattan. There was a certain wonder to it all. Its kind of eerie to think of that day now. How we all stood there as kids, excited by the tall buildings and the sights, never quite realiz

Ten years from now, you can always bring the family to Beijing to marvel at the space program
Just reading the news about Obama's covert wars in Yemen and other places in the Middle East and it really makes me laugh. Now that their boogeyman George W Bush is gone, It seems like Democrats have become rather fond of war, not only becoming huge proponents of protracted wars in Iraq and Afghanistan, but new wars as well. Ironically enough, wars without congressional approval, such as in Libya and Yemen. At least evil and dastardly Bush took his cases for war to congress and even the U
That's interesting. I never lived that much on the internet. I started with the Commodore 'Pet' and the ancient Macintosh computers that were in the school labs in '82 and worked my way from there. As for Windows, I've gone through all the versions of Windows starting from 95. Doesn't look like this excessive internet use has harmed you in any way Brad. My only problem has come when I accidentally spout a political or religious belief among friends or fam
All 12 of MSNBC viewers must have been horrified at Schultz's language
Get a load of this. People are dying here in the worst tornadoes in half a century... stunning.
Lets be realistic, could you imagine the reaction of the press if Bush were President?
Pay no attention to this rant. I have a rather strange and bizarre sense of humor... I didn't think anyone would get it. :D
I needed a fair and objective overview of the holocaust and I found an extremely factual and accurate movie called Triumph Des Willens! Now I know everything there is to know!
Is you being serious Boobztwo or is this a foray into satire? Moore starts with about 10% reality and ends up with 90% Twilight Zone.
I don't want to make light of a serious situation, but our ultra-liberal Obama is out there somewhere adding something like, "bomb the Libyan people for another 48 hours" to his minder. It will make a world of difference if he spends another 48 hours dropping a shitload of million dollar bombs on the heads of a primitive, Islamic peoples. Its been somewhat amusing listening to the liberal response to this. After 8+ years of comparing Republicans to Hitler and bemoaning the toppling of brutal
When people behave badly online they usually just end up making fools of themselves as in the case of that couple who attacked your fantasy book. It was pretty clear to any rational person that there wasn't anything political about the thing. I think we can all act poorly at times on the internet. I'm not a perfect person and in the past I've behaved in ways that make me cringe out here. I've learned from all that and grew up a bit in the way I interact with people on the net.
President Oteleprompter will finally be giving the address he should have given a week ago when the bombs starting dropping on his orders. He seemed more concerned with getting the approval of the Arab League and the Europeans before getting the approval of congress or explaining the war, (ahem) "Kinetic action" to the American people.
I mainly use Firefox... 4 is really nice, but I also use the latest Opera for many purposes. Opera is criminally underrated in terms of usefulness. IE is never innovative and is a prime target for malware attacks
It was a perfect chance to get rid of Ghadaffi once and for all. What would it have taken to set up some surgical air strikes to rattle Gadaffi into exile? Just another lost opportunity. Even more hilarious is how the Obama's will be sunning in Rio as Japan meltsdown into the worst nuclear disaster since Chernobyl. Obama plays golf and makes his hoops predictions while Japan turns radioactive and the Middle East burns.
Its difficult to watch. I don't think its an act or scripted... its looks like the guy thinks hes a god or something like that.
Perhaps I spoke too soon. I know the Mid East is a giant mental institution and that we should probably wait for a while to see what shakes out, but the fall of Ghaddafi in Tripoli and the potential toppling of the Iranian Mullahs leads me to reconsider whether I should totally give up on Bush's policy. If Ghaddafi and the Iranian Mullahs fall and are replaced with pro western regimes, or at least non threatening ones, then kicking in Saddam's door and creating an example of democracy has bee
I'll buy any game I like regardless of its piracy status and I guess most people are the same way. The only games I won't support under any condition are those bundled with restrictive and intrusive DRM
Its tough to say with polling data if its correct or not, at least until you have many different polls taken with the same query. so I can't say with certainty that any of that polling data is correct. I can say with certainty that Egyptian hate Israelis. Why do I say this and how do I come to this conclusion? A few years ago the Egyptians had a ship capsizing and when the Israelis offered to rescue the Egyptians the response back was that they would: "rather drown than be rescued by Jews." I

Good grief. It seems kind of ridiculous to get into a debate over the definition of imperialism. When I hear that word, the first thing that pops into my mind is the Empire of Japan. I guess cause they attacked Pearl Harbor and left such a lasting impression, but I guess any Empire would be "imperialist" That is of course, unless you spend long hours listening to NPR, European intelligentsia, or Islamic extremists who are somehow convinced that the US doesn't have a constitution where men hav
The problem I see with Mid East Democracy is rooted in Islam. Islamists are actually adapting to western Democracy and beating us at our own game. They seem to have figured out how to defeat Western civilization at the ballot box without firing a shot. I began to realize just how deep my feelings were on this issue when I started rooting for the dictator Mubarak to hold power in Egypt, I began to realize that I had virtually no hope of seeing anything arise in a new Egypt other than a radical
I've come to believe that Bush's policy of Democratization in the Middle East is a farce and a lost cause. It began to unravel when I saw the Iraqis time and time again standing on the smoldering ruins of American machinery and lives screaming allah akbar and it came to a grand finale, in a political sense, when Hamas. a terrorist organization, was democratically elected in the Gaza strip. Add to that woeful outcome the election in Lebanon of Hezbollah, a terrorist organization responsible fo

That Chicago game was a total debacle, if Cutler returns he'll probably get booed off his own homefield. I like the Pack, always have. I'll take the Pack to beat Ben Rapelisberger with a 10 point advantage.
