I tear up every time I hear the National Anthem, have for as long as I can remember. Usually, its over in a minute & I'm OK.
I guess its alright to get emotional, but a speaker of the House should be somewhat emotionally stable. I would like to see Boehner fall to pieces as Old Yeller gets shot. That scene hit me pretty hard and I guess Boehner would be inconsolable. ;D

I'm not too sure about this breaking down stuff... Boehner gets really emotional over the most mundane of topics... I can only imagine how he broke down while watching Old Yeller dying as a kid.
Rush Limbaugh has been doing it and it is driving them crazy!
Yeah I noticed that. All those horrible liberals were attacking the black man for his plan to extend the Bush tax cuts. I was shocked, shocked to see such blatant racism.

I find it odd how most right wingers like myself are opposed to the leaks and view them as espionage, while leftists and even Hilary Clinton herself openly joke about it even as it destroys the credibility of their own left wing government.

I worked administratively with the Salvation Army one year on the 'Angel Tree' program. They do a lot of good, but as with most charities they keep up to 90% of donations to run operations. I developed a rather cynical view of charities for a number of reasons that I won't get into here.

Sorry to hear you've had a setback and that you were in the ER on Thanksgiving. Having surgery is a tough thing and it takes time to heal from the trauma. Keep up the strength T.

When you get surgical bruising like that is not always just an ordinary bruise, at least it wasn't for me when I had a hernia repaired on my abdomen. When I woke the staples were all bleeding and that was unusual, but it was also deeply bruised... so much so they called it a hematoma. Really dark blood pooled up in there and it just kept spilling out into all the gauze I had to apply for like a month. Generally when there is heavy bruising it takes a good month, month and a half to heal. That

I'm tired of bed wetting liberal whiners who complain that Water-boarding is 'torture' saying things like 'that's not what were about man' or Geraldo on FOX and friends this morning calling CIA interrogators "the American Taliban' All this BS when they don't mind watching the officials that they elect turning our airports and other infrastructures into quasi police states where nuns, kids and even pilots are felt up and treated like inmates in a penitentiary as a result of not being p

Its nice that Barack Oblamea loves India enough to remember the Bombay terrorist attack... I guess it would have been nice if he would have said a word or two about the anniversary of the Ft Drum terror attack committed a year ago by caveman Major Nidal Hasan right here in America. Many of us hope Oblamea stays in India along with his mannish wife.

I don't think I could ever bring myself to vote for a rat. The worst repub is better than the best Demrat. I voted for my incumbent congressman here in Jersey... he cast an egregious vote for cap-and-trade in the House, but he is good on every other issue. It was practical to vote for him again cause any third party vote is a throw away and just a vote for a Dem that I never agree with.

I don't know what cancer is like, but I can really identify with your post surgical emotions. I've been through lots of surgery myself and I know how tough it is. I've had so much surgery they might as well install zippers. All my best wishes to you and your family for you to beat this thing.

Google flagging malicious sites is an awesome service. When they flag you its for a reason. Shouldn't take too long for the team here to locate the cause and fix it.

Yeah.... Google scans the internet and when it finds a site that it believes to be delivering virus or malware it blocks it as "malicious" IE users generally aren't affected. The Joeuser forum page is off limits to Firefox and Chrome and will present the user with a warning page. Its probably just a flash ad that Google is flagging, Unless the majority of their users are IE the traffic here will nosedive into oblivion
The cost upsets me too. Enough waste, with nothing to show for it.
Yeah, but why get upset. If we're gonna get nothing but comedy from our Government, then why not call in the experts like Jon Stewart and Steven Colbert? Obama's speeches are so ridiculous they might as well be broadcast on Comedy Central right after the Daily show anyway. I can't understand how his stand up routine doesn't provoke open laughter... even among the hand picked lemmings who show up at his gi
