Like I said on Skinbase, I'm behind this project, I do remember the old time at skinz, but let's give it another try with new guys. I'm certainly skinning Kewlpad and greybooks, Old favorites of mine.
Not yet, I can't wait myself
I am indeed.
Words come to mind to describe the situation at it's best. Damn it!
Here is a little special request for any Icon Artist in the WinCusto realm. If you don´t mind creating about a dozen custom icons, paid only by pure knowledge that you have helped a fellow Skinner and nothing but the pride and fame of being on my own website. I know i'm not a regular on WC, so I hope this will not be misunderstood.
I'm surprise, A modzine news that actually makes it on WinCustomize. i'm flattered.
Our editor as just flick the switch and number 5 just hit the stands. In it you will find articles about: The usual Iconpicks, Tweaks and Funbox from Mr. Plastic himself An interview with Jer from Skinz.org by BruB 2 great softwares reviews by Pogz Mr.Pogrelz's Editorial BruB's look at the skinning community. Here is a news that passed right thru the news posters of the skinning community. Since February 19th, Skinz.org is working again. That means you can upload your work, submit news, exchange in the forum. And guess what.....it's brown. Also, Skinz.org is already taking things seriously by appointing Snowman as a new moderator. Will the newowner be like thirty4? only the future will tell.
Thanks for your answers guys, you'll see the article in the next release of modzine, check out the news, maybe this time the admins will actually post the submitted news
With the exception of The Skins Factory and Pixtudio, can anyone tell me of other skinners selling skins on their websites? it's a little research for a future article of Modzine.net
Aren't you guys and your Winamp conversation in the wrong place for this? should maybe take it to the forum!

2.5% can make a difference for people running alot of background apps not knowing what's on their machine Woodbridge. Alot of folks don't know they have 15 different softwares running in the background and they only have 256 mb of RAM. I run 1 gig so I don,t really care. Stardock's software use usually a lot of memory. You kinda get use to it
All the Docks emulator are pretty good in their own way, the drawback with ObjectDock is the ressource used. it's mor than the other two. And for some people, this is a issue. beside that it as a lot more toys to play around with.
Hey! there's a link to Modzine in there, cool thanks!
Aurorae, there is other site, without moderation that are just waiting to see your art and help you improve instead of just spitting you aside. To each site it's way of thinking. Try skinbase.org or artuproar.com They will comment on your work and if you need to improve or change something you will know.
My only point on this why would people pay for downloading what you can find for free on other site like Skinbase, DevArt, Artuproar or Deskmod? I'm not against the idea really. To eliminate Warez used. Have the registered users add their products Serials for unlimitted download. The serial can only be entered once, so no one can give their version serial to other people for usage. Now people will hate this idea <img src="http://images.stardock.com/images/smiles/grim.gif" border=0 ALIG
Man! you guys are hard, i'm almost afraid to release Modzine #2. you'll destroy it before even giving it a chance. I can see some sort of clique building up in the community and I guess it's normal, but do we really need to destroy ourselves. I guess you just can't please everyone. Montréal rulez over the CFL. And most of the people here have no idea what you talked about Paxx
Will it stay free? It did crash a few time in Win2Kpro when, in IE6 I pressed ctrl+n to open a new IE. I'd have to say it did that crash 1 out of 10 time. And after the crash, had to re-put the icons and links in > . Lost everything. Beside this point. It's still a great little app.
Skinbase http://www.sinbase.org Artuproar http://www.artuproar.com Deskmod http://www.deskmod.com Don't bother with DeviantArt! My opinion.
