Reply to Start menu duplicates in Start8 Stardock Forums

Seems to be due to duplicate files on disk. While I have removed the duplicated "Keepass" (two versions installed), in the "Excel" case, Start8 is picking up - a shortcut from "C:\ProgramData\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu" - a shortcut to the exe (NOT present in "C:\ProgramData\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu", neither in "C:\Users\ \AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu" Any hint?

Some items (programs) appear duplicated in the start menu, when typed in the search box For example (click for larger image): Only some programs are affected by this problem How is that?
