If there were to be a time limit for edits, then put in an exception for those who post something very offensive to the forum as a whole, (i.e hermes picture) that a mod could go in and allow the user to edit after a request. Or just have to mod edit period. As for -karma....bad idea. I foresee a lot of issues with that. This is a postive enviroment, let's keep it that way. If you feel someone crossed a boundry, the PM them, that is what it is for.
