I love TCM :) The update makes it not work right though so I had to reinstall it clean to get rid of the "patch" Other then that it's great.

Actually many took a side of "Neutral" at the start of WWII, including the United States. The US didn't declare war until 3 years after WWII started. That is also why there was such a reaction to Pearl Harbor was it was a "sneak attack" as there was no war declared between countries involved. I'm with all of the above, attacking without a declaration moves you to evil, and have both a declaration and threaten war. I don't know if there is this option since I dont have Galciv (Yet the w

Frogboy, why not put up a "big" demo for those that don't mind downloading a large file and have a smaller one later? I've downloaded 200+MB demos already or other software. I just want to see GalCiv before buying it after the MOO3 disaster regardless of size.

No Tromikus, there was no demo from MOO3. Desslok's post is correct. The Battlefiled simulator is not part of MOO3 but an example of how ground combat functions and is nothing like the actual ground combat in MOO3.

I have played MOO3 a LOT. At first I was one of those saying it needed some fixes in a patch to be great. But after playing it even more I found it takes a lot more then just a patch to make it any good at all. :sniff!: If they had released it a year ago maybe they might have some excuse for it being so bad, but with their big point on delaying it to make it so great they have nothing at all to stand on for why they put out such a bad product. (:(

I am a major MOO fan and have been playing MOO3 heavily. It has nice things about it but it falls far short of what it promised and is missing key features of MOO2. I am hoping the AI will be improved (totally redone?) and other items such as refitting ships. Also the fleet function for deploying ships is a pain the the butt. It had and has a lot of potential, but it is burried under problems. (:(

I also heard of GalCiv from the MOO3 forum. Ironicly there was an ad for GalCiv in my MOO3 box. :) I have been a LONG time MOO fan and preorderd MOO3 last year, counting the time till it came out. While it has good things, it also has bad things. Unfortunantly playing it more I have been getting less happy with it instead of more.
