Everyone has good points-- yes that can happen. Being Stardock has several apologists all over the forums I'll chime in on the complaint side. Been buying thier stuff since 2003 and love it. Have OD and loved it until Windows 7 64 bit and now can't use it nor much of anything else SD has in desktop software. Obviously, my opinion only but the desktop programs have become what seems like an orphan child to Stardock. I subscribe to their various newsletters via ema

January 1 today. No change. Seems Win 7 64 has the entire software industry in a mess. I have been running into this with Win 7 64 bit since I installed it back in October. Several of my various titles that say they are Win 7 and Win 7 64 bit compatible have bugs popping up. I see a few Stardock programs coming out now compatible with 64 bit but for those on subscriptions to OD it is quite frustrating to have paid for software that you now can't use until the tit

Just went to renew subscription and saw the 32 bit only deal. No can do. Am running 64 bit on two or my three machines. Am having to change my firewall and a couple other programs to use Windows 7 64 bit but I've already crossed the 64 bit bridge and am not turning back. Send out a notice when 64 bit is ready and I'll check it out again-- but not until. Don't have any idea if your 64 bit versions will be out in one, two or ten months-- doesn't do me much good if I can't use it so I'll wai

I have Vista Ultimate so didn't really need deskscapes. I downloaded and ran the free version for awhile but was intrigues by what I reaad about being able to the way I understood it--schedule different dreams to run at different times of day and other environmental variables. I bought the paid version, installed it and notice nothing different from the free version. No additonal features, barely a menu, no settings. What am I missing here? Did I install it wro

If I can chime in here, I have the same problem. I have DesktopX, WindowBlinds Pro,IconPackager4, Deskscape, Vista Logon Studio, My Colors, Skin Studio and Object Dock Pro installed. All are the latest releases. I just bought Winter Wonderland Today and get the same problem. I go to apply it and I get the Win 95 classic menu look along with the start menu and window frames etc. It does not work to reapply the vista aero look via My Colors, yo

I have the same problem with Winter Wonderland I just purchased earlier today. The taskbar, window frames, start menu and other items do not change-- they go to the old classic look except in white-- light grey. Tried green theme and same thing happened. I do not use Theme Manager. I can go into Vista Personalization menu and set theme back to Vista Aero but when I try to use any of the "My Color" themes it changes properly, pauses about three seconds and then goes int

You might as well add your "Community" search engine to the long list of Stardock projects that do not work. When I search for even the simpliest of terms that should score hundreds of responses I get either no reponses, one response or the server tells me to wait and try back in an exact number of seconds-- 21 on my last try. With Impulse causing numerous problems, Cursor FX and XP not being able to keep cusors "on top" of toolbars, Icon Packager not even being able to change s

I know this sounds really stupid but I cannot locate a manual for Skin Studio 6. I found a developers manual for version 4 via a Google search but that's it. I have several questions I could get answers for myself if I had access to the manual. If anybody knows where to download a copy could they give me the link please? Or a link to tutorials on editing skins and creating skins would be excellent. I'm sure after a couple readings of the manual, so

Same here. After the latest update, which said up top of the history that the activation issue was resolved I had the indentical problem. I'm not being sarcastic, but doesn't Stardock test these fixes many, many times before they issue them? Can anyone sign up to help test fixes? Version 4 was a very long time coming-- it seems unusual this was not caught before the release or resolved during the last update. Like any user that spent the money to upgrade I am very anxious to pu

holomatrix69 has it right. That announcement has been there since last summer when I thought I'd go ahead and upgrade. About two thirds of the responses to holomatrix69 have been apologists for Stardock. Haven't had time to take the announcement down yet? Hmmm, July of '07 until April of '08. Now it's the end of April and somehow they've had the time for a site redesign and to roll out new products but not the time to finish an update that has been going on over a year. The firs
