That would be a blast! GalCiv II for the Pocket PC. That would be fun.
Betamann
Yeah, I know, it really is unrealistic to think they will change the graphics short of a rewrite. But one can only hope. I loved MOO1, MOO2, and I really hope MOO3 will survive. Then again, I thought Reach for the Stars was going to make it as well! NOT!! I can still hope. I do not think GAL CIV will suffer the negativity that MOO3 is going through. I don't think that Star Trek: Birth of the Federation went through that much trouble! TJ
Sorry for the question, I found the invoice. It says beta + final. DUH!!! But thank you anyway.
This is a good question as I bought the Beta as well! TJ
Good job going from GAL CIV OS/2 to GAL CIV for Win!!!!! :CONGRAT: Congrats to all of you who has had a part in this game! TJ
GAL CIV is the bomb dude, compared to the tanking MOO3! I have an eye for games. Basically people are like electricity. They take the path of least resistance! If the game is to hard to learn, or the learning curve is too step, then they will bow out. However, if a game is intuitive, (you don't have to play 40 hours to learn it) then the game will be fun. It did not taake me but less that 10 minutes to figure out what to do in GAL CIV. It is adictive. Now MOO3, wow, it wil
This is what I found out as well.
The planet was in the SOL System, and had 26 points assigned to it. This was empty.
I am running .9033, and just created a colonizer, and then just clicked on an available planet. The game disappeared from my screen. This is a brand new game. The building priority I believe has a problem once again. I set it up to build the Soil Enrichment, and then the Entertainment Network. After a turn, I went back to that screen, only to find that the second in the list was gone. May be a problem. The opening sequence screen is not choppy any longer. This seems to be fi
I see another problem. On my system, P4 2.667GHZ 512meg RAM, the cut scene of the colony lander is black, or blanked out, nothing shows up. The version I am running is 0.9.028.
I am running a P4 2.667GHZ and the opening intro of the doors to the Start Menu, are choppy.
I am running at P4 2.667 GHZ 512meg RAM, and delay in turns on Gigantic is fairly long.
I see that with the 4D version, the starting position is too far from the next clump of stars to explore. They are out of range to get to. Plus any amount of research won't give you enough tech to close the gap. I got put in the corner, and at first I thought that was great. But with 5 stars, and about a dozen planets does not bring in much bc. Is this a random bug?
I hope that will be changed!!!! Or at least be a choice at the beginning of setup. Number of computer players should be a choice as well! I have beta tested a few of these type of games, and both of these items are basic configuration setup choices. I know these are newbie questions, but I have to ask. How do you change the race you want to play? Does it mean that you can only play the Terrans? I don't think that's the way it was with GalCiv OS/2
It would be nice to set the conditions of victory before the game starts. Maybe I have missed something. Cultural Victory does nothing for me. I would like to go all the way to the last planet standing!
