I'm using System.KeyState(vk) to determine if Shift and/or Ctrl is pressed. However, it some times returns the value 3. In the documentation it says the function return 0, 1 or 2. What is this last undocumented keystate? It's currently gives me some headacke because my script doesn't work as expected because of this. What happends is this: Action State Inital state</

Another feature request: Have a dropdown box at the top of the script editor that contains a list of all the functions in the script. Would be very useful for longer scripts.

I got the same problem. It went away for me when I unloaded WindowFX. However, someone else that also has the same problem had to unload WindowBlinds. Try closing down your other programs running. Start with StarDock products. Then see. (ps. could you post back here if you get results? I'm curious.)

Strange. I have the same WB version, but it didn't cause any problems on my system. I might have a deeper look into it tomorrow. Feature request: It'd be nice if the Object Lister would have a treeview to the left in the window and when you selected an item in the treeview it'd only list the child and related objects of that item.

I have run into a problem when using JScript. The function Object_OnSetFocus() and Object_OnKillFocus() does not trigger when using JScript. It does however when using VBScript.

I have two accounts on my computer. One that I use normally, and one I use for when I'm working with 3D Studio Max and such. On the latter one, DX3 works fine, but on the one I use normally I get an error message when I choose "Configure DesktopX..." from the systray menu. The DesktopX builder gives the exact same error when I even just try to launch it. This doesn't happend on my other account. I suppose it's a conflict with any other program I got ru

Frogboy: Can you explain to me the definition of a "desktop"? Would that be something that replaces the systemtray and/or taskbar? Are sidebars considered desktops? If I make objects that replace the use of icons, would that be considered a desktop? I'm just wondering of what would define a desktop and what would define and application. (Should I start a new thread for this?)

Fair enough. I suppose it's because your one of the ones in Stardock that has got the most visible public appearance. Reakon you need a couple of monkeys to take some of the workload. (btw, I sent you an email some weeks ago that I assume got lost in the bulk. I'll be a bit snaeky and meantion it here. It was about adding a language/translation section to the forums. I talked to you briefly on that IRC chat earlier this year. Just wondered

Btw, a little off topic. Could you explain this a little more: (From https://www.stardock.com/products/desktopx/propurchase.asp) You may not use the DesktopX Professional software to export entire desktop environments as gadgets (stand alone programs). If you wish to build distributable desktops contact us about li

Now, one of the things that's important to remember when building a desktop is that you'll want all your "desktop" items to be of the desktop z-order (by default, objects are created at the Normal z-order). You want your desktop stuff to always show up below your windows. True, but you where

Yes. Them concept videos are really good. I downloaded all of them in hi-res. They where really interesting to see. And just considering that was made with existing technology. When they where made, not everything where planned out right. It's still going to be another year for it to come.
