I'm just guessing, but it might be that your IE settings are so high that it doesn't allow you to use unsecured/unencrypted forms. Have a look in your Security Tab in Internet Options, click "Custom Level..." and locate "Submit nonencrypted form data". If that is set to disabled, then that could be the problem. If not you might want to have a look at the other options in IE or your IE SPYAD. My guess is that IE-SPYAD has set your IE security s

It's still better to have Windows with SP2 than without. In any case, if you care for your computers security, get a virusprogram and firewall. In addition, run Adaware and Spybot once in a while.
It's a shame that the swastika has become a symbol of evil. All the way up until the Nazi's used it it's been a symbol of good. I'm at the same time worried about new-nazis and nationalists that tend to use norse mythology and symbols for their cause. That really annoys me and makes me angry as I do not want it to be accosiated with such. On a sidenote: I'd say that the Nazi flag is quite a good design. The swastika on a white circle on the re
letters? ... what's that? ...you mean "lettuce"?
Oh dear... I think I took the blue pill...
Same here. I get email notification, but the Watched item page has allways been empty.
Firefox because it's the browser out there that renders by the W3C standards. And then I use IE for Windows Update or for the odd site out there that only works in IE.
Whole window. Are you refering to Explorer when you talk about this? There is a setting where the background of Explorer would be painted as the wallpaper and have some basic tinting. At least it used to be.
As for longhorn, the pre-beta's all really sucked.. What do you really expect from a alpha version? It was even a very crude alpha version as well.
4. It'd be nice to have an option that scale tiles in propotions to the original window size.
1. I think the tiles would be more usable if it had a hotkey to bring the tiles to the top like DX widgets. 2. It'd be nice if the tiles could snap to each other. (With a little spacing between them. Possible matching the height of the moved window to the height of the window it snapped to.) Just something that would make it look cleaner and neater. 3. I'm having some issues when I click Shift+Minimize that the window gets closed inst
Too bad WinFS won't be there...
4. keep pressing until you're in the C: drive. YAY! we fooled Microsoft! Nope, not Microsoft, just the admisn that wheren't doing their job properly.
Can you be more spesific to what's not working?
I'm using Aero Weather to track the weather. However, I like to see the weather for where I am now and for back home. I've set it to autostart wiht Windows but only one starts up. (The last started one.) Does anyone know if this is a DesktopX bug or a bug in the widget? In whatever the case is: can this be fixed please?
Turns out. If I create shortcuts to program files it works all right. But not when I create shortcut to toher files such as folders and etc. And shouldn't IconX be able to getthe icons of the "my computer", "my networks" and "recycle bin"? The "desktopx" icon on my screenshot there is a folder that lies directly on the desktop. Why isn't that loading correctly?
It happends to shortcuts I create as well.
I'm posting a screenshot to show the issue in action.
I've got the latest IconX from the ODNT. (alpha/beta enabled) For some reason it does not display the correct icons. 98% of my icons got the old windows application icon. Same things happend if I create new shortcuts as well. Any clues?
and I still like tables better than div tags for complex layouts... can't you use sty;e sheets with tables too? I'm new to div tags and style sheet (can you believe that a few years agao I didn't like CSS?) Using tables for layout is strongly discouraged in webdesign. There are many reasons to th
Very nice indeed. But I'm not going to install this as it hacks the system files. Could cause problems next time you go to update your system. If that doesn't happend it's very likely that files get restores upon next update and you have to go and hack the system again.
At Malvik, Norway (Close to Trondheim) it's about 2+ and clouded. Quite a bit of the snow has melted unfortunatly, but some is still left. (And alot of ice!)
Interesting... Will try when I get back to England. ...and for the internett to get connected again... we ordered a 2Mbit line...
Stardock. I use Ad-Aware and Spybot S&D, two of the top antispyware program out there. (And free) None of them ever complains about Stardock. And I would never ever think Stardock would add spyware to their software. If that happend you can be sure you'd hear about it.
And lowercase letters where invented with easier reading in mind.
