Also, in regard to GPUs, SETI has made an beta version of their app that computes the data using the GPU instead of the CPU and got staggering differenses in results.

Right. I'll have a look into that. Can anyone recommend a free image tool? As this is something I'll only do once, most likely, I'm not that keen on shelling out much money.

I'm now using Vista full time. But I'm not fully ready to completely get rid of my XP partition. I've just started looking in to virtual machines. I got Virtual PC 2007 and VMWare. What I'm wondering is how I can convert an existing partition to a virtual machine?

Looks nice. But I'm curious how it's going to be coded? XHTML and CSS or tagsoup as it is now? Also, currently when a section has "Next" and "Previous" links, the links actions are javascript so if I want to open the next page in another tab for instance I can't because there is no URL information. Will you change that for WC2K7?

So no menu item in explorer to manually force a backup? If that's the only issues then I'll go aahead and install it. The shell context menu will be added leter, yes? Nothing in Vista that prevents it?

I think the problem is that when features are implemented into the OS they are often implemented to the point that it can be added to a comparison list. And then further development slows down from there.

I was wondering if KeepSafe works in Vista 5744? I'd normally just install programs to see if they work, but I'm not sure how deeply KS integrates with the system and are a bit hesitant to try it.

Even in 4.6 that only worked with UIS1 files. Most skins made these days are UIS2.

Currently it runs and functions fine. However, when running Aero there is a bug which makes a little area of the monitor allways repond to OD and nothing else.

There isn't any ObjectDock 2. There is ObjectDock 1.3+ and then there is ObjectBar 2. ObjectBar 2 is part of the ODNT package, but ObjectDock 1.3+ isn't. And there has been a steady release of version for DesktopX, WindowsBlinds, Iconpackager. Drivescan even has had a couple of beta updates lately. And the SD team has said that they have been working on quite a few new things for Vista, so in a couple of months when Vista gets shipped I think we'll begin to see some more new go
