hmm.... them still seem broken Jafo... Anyways: this seem very interesting. From the description I like the way of skinning. When I make WB skins I make everything in Photoshop anyways and I allways have a layer for each object. The thing that has allways stopped me from releasing any is that I find it very time consuming and quite boring to slice and but everything into SkinsStudio. I'll have t

I've only experienced that some times when I apply a skin. If I closed and opened firefox again it was gone. However, I haven't experienced it for a while now. ... but then again I formatted my computer a month ago or so. Don't have the same extensions now. Try disabling your extensions.

I use the colour changing feature in WB whenever I wan't to tweak the colour of a skin. Too bad that you have to force colour every skin. Can't remember last time I found a skin that supported colour variations. And I find that odd as there's quite a few skins where the author has included four - five colour variation when he/she could have set up colour masks instead and given the full power to the user.

Too bad, I really thought DesktopX had a lot of potential, but with lack of support like this, it still remains just a toy. Not really. Depends on how you use it. The thing is, DesktopX is s development platform. The same is Flash. What you are trying to do is host one development platform inside another. <TABLE cellpadding=8 width="95%" alig

I can not seem to reproduce the effect you are seeing though. Have you tried formatting the time with FormatDateTime function? One thing: You don't need to wrap everything in brackets. You can use desktopx.Object("gmt").text = "Greenwich Time " & DateAdd("h",8,t) Another thing: I'd recomment that you add a space behind the & symbol as it's used to define hex numbers.

We have seen a couple of reports of this and I believe they have all been on slow graphics cards, or when the PC is under heavy load. It is limited to skins with per pixel startmenus. My GFX card isn't the newest, but I'd say it runs at a decent speed. But thinking of it, the issue might have occured whenever there's a few things going on. And I

I have that issue as well. Don't know when it started. It doesn't allways happend, jsut occationally and I ahven't been able to figure out why. What happends is that I click the start button and nothing seem to happend. But if I move the cursor over where the startmenu should be the buttons gets drawn as I move across them. I think when you click download you should get a pop up first asking if you have "insert software here" installed, if no... no download. God no! No! No! No! Please don't force people to click a yes or no for every skin they download. Sure it might reduse a few questions posted here, but the overall user experience would suffer greatly and I think it'd

No you can't. Multiplicity let you control two or more computers with one set of mouse and keyboard. You still need a monitor for each PC. I know there's software out there to do waht you ask for, but I don't know the name of any. But I'm sure someone here knows.

DesktopX: HMM maybe an object that can replace all icons with objects, I know DesktopX has that. It would add more advanced effects such as grouping into single icon, and single click to spread out, and other groups would go away. It may be really too hard to do, however. I would add ability to use own pictures, customize grouping, etc. One

Are you using ObjectDock or DesktopX? I notice a pause when minimizing apps if I have a non-tabbed dock or desktop object on my desktop. I've got Windows XP SP2, with ATI RADEON 9800. I've been in contact with stardock support trying to track down what causes it. But so far it hasn't lead to anything.

I've only tried Norton and Norman. Norton has generally been fine, but I've had some issues with it. And this issues has not very easy to solve. They had me pinned to google for hours and days finding a solution for it. Norman seem to just work. All though the UI is butt ugly. But then again, I rarly have to see it's UI anyway. Just ticks along in the background.

Yup. ObjectDock Plus is probably THE program I use the most. I rarely use the Start menu any more. I have a tabbed dock at the top of my screen that will appear everytime I slam my mouse to the top of the screen. It's just a beauty to use. When I use computers now without that it get a bit awkward because I'm so used to that dock.
