I got no idea either. But I noticed that most DX script issues as fixed after reinstalling WScript.

So... you cusomize the slow old one... but leave the new one alone...? o_O
Does existing scripts work? It might be your WScript instalation that's broken. http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?FamilyId=C717D943-7E4B-4622-86EB-95A22B832CAA&displaylang=en
Can someone please explain what exactly an "asshat" is?? It's self-explainatory. It's and ass you wear as an hat. Think of Monty Python's song "Sit on my face and tell me that you love me. I'll sit on your face and tell you I love you too I love to hear you o-ra-lise When I'm between your thighs<
'cause he's jolly good fellow! 'cause he's jolly good fellow! 'caause heee's jolly goood feee-elloow! which nobody can denie! hey!
Why do you display the IP address for the last anonymous user?
no. My DesktopX script editor uses some italic font when coding in VBScript. Was hoping there was a way to change that. That is really odd. Have you tried reinstalling DX? And making sure that you haven't lost the Courier New font somehow?
I have wondered myself where all the new objects, widgets and themes have been. Usually after a new release, certainly of the magnitude of DX3, would have a flood of new material. Perhaps like me, many people still haven't found a reason to use DX on a daily basis. It's a bit odd, yes. Since DX3 makes it
Yes. Use UIS2 skins can have transparent captions. Pink colour defines what become transparent. (RGB 255,0,255). However, you can't have translucent (alphatransparent) captionbar, like you see in the recent Longhorn screenshots.
Thanks. DesktopX 2 could do that too, I guess they just renamed it and made it part of Pro version. DX2 could make widgets. You still needed the Pro version to build standalone applications. And the license where alot more expensive.
You can see it was allways staring at her hand where she held the treat it was given towards the end. It knew it'd get it eventually after it responded to the woman. The thing is thoug, it's stuff like that which makes people want to go out and get one. Even though they got no idea of how to take care of it. And it's protected as well, isn't it?
I don't get why people work so hard to get a Mac look alike when they can just buy one...
I just want to know how I can change the italic font in the script editor to something more normal without hacking into anything ? italic text in the code editor? You refer to the comments?
thomassen want Einstein the Parrot It speaks better than some people I know...
Thanks for sharing. What I find annoying when I try to find solutions for scripting, or computer problems is when I search for the problem, get result, someone else has described the exact same problem, but they all refer to a place where I have to register to see the solution. *tsk* *tsk*
Any way of seeing the uniqe stats?
So no immediate problems at the moment? I didn't get around to look at the code yesterday because one of my housemates had a birthday and that stole the day. I'll add this thread to my watch so that I'm sure to get notified if you got more questions.
I have some issues with Battlefield and the mouse as well. If I scroll, it will go through the weapons until I scroll back to the exact position again. I think I have latest drivers and software for the mouse. Gonna check again.
Do you mean what SD is making for DX, or what the people around here are making with DX?
Bugger! I miised it. it's noe 05:19!
You want a DesktopX object that Switches the current user of Windows?
I still get a weird scroll effect using the wheel (whatever is highlighted zips past 3-4 times rolling the wheel) Yes, I have the same thing. Thought it was just my eye's playing tricks on me. They tend to do that... I'm using a Logitech Cordless and Optical mouse. <TABLE cellpadding=8 width="9
Where is this theme then?
Yes, as many others have said, WinAmp was one of the early first. I was making wallpapers for a long time though. Since, Paint on Win 3.1. I never finished any WinAmp skins, but I made a skin for WB, I think it was around the end of version 2 and beginning of version 3. At the same time I was trying a number of diffferent shells. Even was working on one my self in Visual Basic. I also played around with hacking the system files. Changing the icons in t
