I found this to be an issue as well. The fix for my computer was to enable all permissions for authenticated users for the drive my dreams were installed on. I did this under the user I was logged on. Then I unchecked pause dream when windows are maximized (Single Monitors only) under the advanced tab. Finally I installed sharky's advanced codecs. This corrected the freezing problem for me. It also ensured max compatibility for mpg, mpeg, avi and wmv formats.
Great work, desktop icons are no longer locked with this release and dreams transition correctly.

Spoke too soon, I'm afraid my desktop icons are locked and cannot be moved. The only way to fix this currently is to log out and log in after starting up my computer. It's an old issue that I've dealt with before with previous builds.
This program was the best purchase I ever made. Way to get it done Dev Team works perfectly for me with sharky's codecs.
