Thanks GreenReaper!!! Man I cant type tonight!!! :) I noticed there is no uninstall option and GalCiv does not show up under "Add/Remove Programs" So I guess I wint have to uninstall the Beta before I get the full game...

Well if I had it to do all over again, I would probably wait and get it in the store... I think it is a shame that the people who waited(and did not take a chance and support the game early) will get a better deal(the full retail boxed version) then the Beta testers!!! I ask a month ago if we would get the Retail boxed version of the game sent to us and you said "YES".. Now I read that we will receive emails giving us an option to get just the CD mailed to us for $5???? What happen between your "YES" and Now????? :( :( :(

Yes It says beta + final but if you read the web site close it said final for D/L... That is how this question started to begin with. DUH!!!!! ;p I for one am glad the people who bought the Beta will get the retail boxed version mailed to them...

March is going to be great!!!!! I think Freelancer and GalCiv will both be great and both are very different but based in space!!!! I hope my wife, son and job will understand when they dont see much of me for the next several months LOL LOL LOL
I live in Dallas and was ROCKED out of my bed around 8:00 am this moring... I thought someone was trying to bash in my front door so I ran out to look and my black lab was going crazy... Not kowing what it was, I went back to bed and then about 8:45 my Mom calles and says are you watching TV... A tragic day.. May God be with them all!!!!! (:( (:( (:( (:( (:(
Dont get me wrong I like the game so far but from reading all the posts and playing the game for the past 2 weeks I really dont see how they could go gold any time soon with the problems that have been reported on this forum... I hope Stardock is not under pressure to beat Moo3 to the stores....

Ok I have to say The manual rated from 1 to 10 I would give it a 4 :( :( :( :( :( There is nothing wrong with The manual... It is just missing about 400 pages... I mean a game this complex and deep The manual just gives a very broad overwview of things... If you are going to do an on-line manual, look at how Space Empires IV did it... It is a very nice HTML manual that you can access while in the game...
I was like you... Last week I was home sick from work and while on the net came across GalCiv... I read all the features and decided to give it a try... So far I love it... I am still interested in Moo3 but will wait until I see some reviews on Moo3 first... Just read all the features about GalCiv and see if they sound good to you... Also remember that the final version will have more stuff in it then the current beta.
"Random events have been made more rare" I think that is good... I was thinking they happen too much... Could Random events be a setting that we tell how much we want them in the game???? Just an idea...
