I still think it would be cool to have a Ring World as a wonder.. It could affect your influance or something.. Anyone know what some of the wonders are??? Are the Wonders even in the Beta????

Not talking about ground combat. Only been playing the game for about a week now but it would seem like you should have Tech that allow you to build Planet Def... Also Space Stations in orbit that you could build Def modules on??? Is this in the game?? Are ships in orbit the only Def a planet has????

Will you have the ability to build Ring Worlds in the game??? That was one thing I love about Space Empires IV was that you could get the Tech to do cool stuff like Ring Worlds... A Ring Would could be a Wonder!!!! Now that would be a cool Wonder!!!!!!!

I know there are things not in the Beta that will be in the gama and final version... Since I am playing the beta, I was wondering if Frogboy could tell us what is NOT in the Beta that we will see in the final version?? I know cut screen's for one but what else??? You don't have to be specific but what are they in general... Thanks!

The reason you cant D/L the Beta is because you selected to have the beta mailed to you.. Your serial number will be sent with your CD... This is why I did not choose to get the Beta CD maild to me because I wanted the play the game NOW!!!!! ;) ;) ;) ;) ;) Now that I hear we(Beta people) MIGHT get the final retail boxed game mailed to us, I was glad I did not get the Beta CD mailed to me...

Just Read another post from FrogBoy and I have now put 2 and 2 together: Frogboy wrote: "3) General security. Calm down everyone... Frogboy said he would try and I am sure he will... besides I do believe that on the Stardock page it did say you get the full game by D/L... I really do hope that Stardock can send the boxed game to all the people that bought the beta... It only makes sense....

Thanks Frogboy!!!! Let's hope Strategy First will do it. Tell them that since we all bought the beta and suppored the game early on, they should reward us with the boxed edition... :D :D

Razgon are you talking about the events??? I too want to know about this... I thought I read that during a game Events are suppose to happen that setup some type of story.. There are suppose to be a lot of Events so each game will be different... Anyone know more about how this works???

I guess I am still of the old school... I like having a CD in my hand... I have bought other games On-Line that I had to D/L but then later when I changed computers and wanting to play the game again I could never find all my paperwork so I could D/L it again... I for one do not mind the extra wait for the CD(Boxed version I hope) to be mailed to me...

I just read the news item on the front page: "owever, be aware that when the GAMMA become available, we will be closing updates to all but a handful of beta testers for security purposes. You'll be able to continue playing the beta but subsequent builds won't be available until release at which time you'll get the CD-ROM version sent to you." So the people that bought the beta and full version will get the full vrson on CD... I hope this means they will just ship us the retail box
