Oh yeah, thats another wierd thing: LogonStudio works in safe mode. I was under the impression that it wasnt supposed to. Work got cancelled for me, so I'm going to try Essencay's idea after I get some more lunch. We're having a pretty good blizzard here in alberta right now, so the weather and the roads are not so good. [Message Edited]

Oh, by the way, my computer is a Dell and it came with windows installed on it, so I dont have to "official" windows disc, just the Reinstallation cd that the computer came with. I dont know how this will affect the scannow process, since its not really the windows disc.

So. Right now I've managed to get into my user in normal start-up mode. (yay!) It took about 45 minutes to log into it. I dont have any start bar, or any icons. It showed up when I ctrl-alt-dlted to reboot. I hit "Run Program..." and moved a bunch of files from there, onto the network. But its still just black screen, with safe mode in all the corners, and the SP # at the top. The other normal user works fine in safe mode. So does the admin one. I have two adm

Ok Travis, further assistance required. I followed your instructions to the letter, and I get the same old Access Denied error. Does the fact that I have the user I'm trying to access passworded affect the abilty to use this fix?
