Alpha-omega: People who read up on the 'news' are also potential customers here at WinCustomize, and thus, also of stardock. This means that its important to have non-skinning related stories as well. Why the big ruckus about whats in the news here? After all, in terms of bandwidth, the 'home page' is far lower in bandwidth than actually downloading skins and wallpapers. Your concern is appreciated, but perhaps the judgement of news posts should be left to the Moderators. <img src="ht

Alpha, please, it is not your place (so to speak) to judge what should be 'news' and what should not be. Although we appreciate you standing up for the 'Skinner's Hangount' sort of mentality here, its really a fact of 'news is news' and the big stories that involve technology are free to be posted here. And in the end, by the way, since it IS Frogboy's site, he can post what he likes on it. Best p

Not necessarily going to happen that way though. It IS suggested that you uninstall the previous version first, then reboot, then install the new version. This ensures that all files that might be 'stuck' are removed.

1st step: Dont use huge bold fonts in all capital letters when asking a question. 2nd step: Relax, calm down. More punctuation doesnt solve the problems any faster. Now, on to the problem. Do you have any links to suites that wont work correctly?

Its up now. I would say its not a 'super' logon, but I'm glad that you're trying your hand at skinning. My recommendations would be to definately start using your own graphics for things such as the background and top panels. Understand that you dont need to use all the panels... they can be disabled by giving them a height of 0px in LogonStudio. Also, work on keeping your images smooth. Thats one of the issues when using someone elses image and scaling it up or down; you get gr

Well, it sounds like they are exporting exactly the way they are supposed to export. Gadgets and Widgets arent designed to be 'full desktop' applications. If you'd like to get the ability to export you 'desktops' with all the work area settings, etc, you'll need DestkopX Enterprise Edition, which lets you do that. There isnt a fix, because its not a problem... the program wont assign Widgets or Gadgets values like workarea, and things like that. It can only assign a widget or gadget the prop

I dont quite get why its TSF that has the rights to the skins, when they were made specifically for the other companies. In my opinion, that would mean that TSF would have NO control over who gets to make more skins, since it would be up to those companies to give permission. Thats my interpretation anyways...

Koasati, I think in Vista, when window is maximized only the titlebar is shown, maximizing screen real-estate. I, personally, always find windows that creep in on the edges to be a bit annoying. >_<
