The biggest question here ladies and gentlemen, should be WHY are png's even allowed? ObjectDock will run just fine, in fact better than normal, using ico's instead of png's. ICO is a native Windows format, and this will operate better than any pngs. If an icon is properly made at higher resolutions, there should be no clarity problems at all, and therefore, no reason to use pngs. This just begs the question as to why there are any icons at all in the OD section now. Since Misc. Icons can h

Hehe, sounds like a plan!
It appears to be a lens flare from off camera somwhere. A bright flash somwhere else, a reflection, or even just the angle of the camera may have caused it.

Wow! Featured on JoeUser... sweet!
Hmm, I see I have a small bug. Due to a caching problem in the XmlHttp object, I've had to randomize the URL that the feed goes to. I do that like this: url = "--xml feed here--" & "?" & Int(100000000*Rnd()) What this does is add a ?--random number-- to the end of the url everytime it retrieves it, hopefully removing the caching problem without having to deal with deleting caches etc.
All hail Koop! Larry, you're a great guy, and I really like working with you. I'd have never guessed you were 50... you've got the attitude of a much younger guy. Take that as a compliment... I'm glad I've been able to work with you more recently, and I hope things keep going well for ya!
You need to create a new tabbed dock and move the icons over into it.
Is this a UIS 1.0 skin, or a UIS 2.0 skin?
Welcome to Part 3 of the basics of DesktopX by CerebroJD Time for part three, assuming you read through and understood part one and part two of the series. In this tutorial, we're going to get a little co
As stated in IRC (twice), email [email protected] or [email protected] for assistance. It will be looked into as soon as possible, but it CANT be checked until regular Stardock business hours.
The moderation ques are having some issues, I think. I have an updated gadget in moderation too, but its only been there for 24 hours, so I cant say whether there is a problem or not. However, I did note some wierd things when I updated it, so I've got those being looked into. As for moderation volunteers, all that is still being worked out. In time, I think there will be a moderation team, but right now its all internal Stardock staff, I
If you click on that bottom bar in SkinStudio, look on the right side for the section "Size of the Bottom Bar", where you can change the width of it. As for the username at the top, I cant really help you. I know its a sucker to get to work right, and I've never quite gotten it, but hopefully someone will swing by who can give you a hand.
Another bit of trouble. Here in the forums, the "new post" icons just dont seem to go away for me no matter what I do. So far, I've read every thread on this site, but every single one has the "New Posts!" icon beside it. Kind of a funky bug... Hope its not just on my end...
I wouldnt mind a 3 minute "intro jam" either that was downloadable. Got some ideas for it too...
Edivion, in a couple days I'll have somethin up that you can get! Hopefully you'll purchase it! I'm just lettin ya know that lotsa people got stuff in the pipeline for purchasable gadgets.
All Gadgets are fully tested before they are approved. Moderation teams are still currently being established, so patience is key at this point. I know that the approval/rejection email system is experiencing hiccups, so notification is iffy. Your best bet is to be patient for a little while longer and see how things go.
I dont believe this is possible yet.
Hypothetically, as long as you are signed into gmail, this widget works. It doesnt matter if you have a password or not, since 'intruders' can just go to gmail.com and they are already logged in. However, if you DO want to have that ability put into the widget, I can take a look for you and help you with the code.
Just click on "Comments" and scroll to the bottom of the page.
Doesnt it already ask you for this information?
Wow... thats cool!
How does JavaScript treat arrays differently?
HighCommand, what do you mean? As it is, it is more like the *scripts* are associated with the *graphics*, since the script is within each object. Sometime this week, I think I'll put together another tutorial. I like Murex's idea of the roll-up menu and fading text. I'm trying to think of the best way to do that, but I have some good ideas. OldHack, it sounds like you want to modif
