Funny you should mention this, since I just ran into the same problem! I think I can work around it the same way you did/tried, but it should probably be addressed, since I doubt its supposed to work that way. Next time I spot you on IRC, we'll compare notes on the problem. Rest assured, you're not the only one with the problem!

Ooh, this is a very good idea, but I'm not knowledgable enough to code a docklet that does that. Hopefully someone will see this who can!
Hmm, I'm not quite sure. Have you emailed Martin about that?
Go to www.theweatherchannel.ca and search for your city. In the url in the address bar, you will see a code like this: CAAB0049 Thats the one you need to put into the widget.
Almost any weather widget will work fine. Just copy the location code out of the address bar when you search for your location on Weather.com.
Try dragging the icon you want to use onto the area in the Icon tab that asks you to customize your icon. I believe you may be able to drag a full icon package onto it in order to browse through that...
Might be something like that, but that doesnt jive with me, since I've only been one for about 9.5 months....
Well, it appears to be for everyone who has been here for longer than a year. Not exactly a 'senior' in the community, but experienced enough to be passed the 'n00b' status, I would think.

I just commented on it, no problem in response to one by Mr. Spook. (thanks for the attempted comment! )
You can change the workspace area with DesktopX as well.

I offer corporate branding of RSS Gadgets, one example being the PowerUser.TV reader in the gallery. Does your site have an rss feed to tie into for the Gadget to get info from? I would definately be interested in working with you, for a fall smaller fee than 70 bucks.
In ObjectDock?
Another alternative would be to visit the stardock IRC channel, where the developer for this particular product hangs out about 80% of the time. mIRC, an irc chat client. Server: irc.stardock.com Channel: #stardock
Great job. ^ What he said! (quoting to test something )
In the PowerUser.TV broadcast, Brad mentions that he anticipates that DesktopGadgets.com will also allow Microsoft Gadgets on it, since really they are all just independent programs. Hypothetically, this could be very good for both Microsoft and Stardock, if they work together to enable DesktopX Gadgets to dock to the Vista sidebar. Thats just an idea, of course, and most likely wont be implemented, but I'm sure that DesktopGadgets.com is a place whe
The text and images arent always obeying the right-side margins. For example, that image up there is about 2wice as wide as the column where the posts are. Site still doing awesome! (Uploaded a gadget! w00t )
