Well, just open the panel, convert it to tga, remove the magic pink, put in some sorta aero affect or whatever, then import the image into Skinstudio as a tga.

We dont use that program here. You should switch to WindowBlinds. Its a superior product that has more features and a better support network.

I'm still tryin to figure all those out myself...will try to get back to you on this... Have you read the "SkinningTheDock.txt" file in the OD folder on your hard-drive? It has all the skinning bits in it, and how to use them.

Extract the zip file somewhere, then install from there. Icons dont read correctly out of a zip file.

The section is NOT GOING TO BE CLOSED. Its going to be HIDDEN from immediate public view until more skins are in it. You will STILL BE ABLE TO GET TO IT. You'll just have to click the "More" button at the bottom of the category list, or else go to the Gallery tab.

Nothing is being gotten rid of. It just wont be visible in the skin category list until you hit More at the bottom.
