hmmm....I have one of those floaty mattresses. You could just float around the lake on it
KarmaGirl
werewolf sno cone Dr. pepper or Sobe Mr. Green?
Have a good one!
Boat scissors or paper cutter?
bkb, did you happen to catch SNL? They said "people are calling French fries "freedom fries". In response, France is calling American cheese "idiot cheese"." I thought that was pretty cute. People can be pretty stupid.
Hey! Where is everyone? /me is lonely swimming around in the coffee lake by herself.
Paxx, actually what France said was: "If the war starts and if (President) Saddam Hussein uses chemical or biological weapons, it would change completely the situation for the French president and for the French government, and President (Jacques) Chirac will have to decide what we will do to help the American troops to confront this new situation." It's a bit vague since they said that they will *then* need to decide what they will do. Saddam already stated that he has no pl
How would we know if Saddam actually left? Doesn't he have like 100 look alikes that he uses?
G_A, that is more or less what my post #179 was referring to. It is hard for people in civilized nations to comprehend what places like that are like. How can the "people" of a nation like that ever rise above the "leader"?
/me slides down the slide again.. Hey! why is half the coffee gone? I think we need to tickle and squeeze werewolf to get the rest back! The chocolate syrup in the slide is turning the coffee lake into a nice mocha!
joetheblow Yes, I am a girl. /me wants those negatives back from Jafo, too! Yes, a Trans-Am is considered a muscle car, but they can't compete with the hp of todays engines. Also, even though people have issues with them, a well tuned carb will help you out with that. The gear ratio in the tranny is also a help (mine is an automatic). Mine is well kept and well tuned, and will get abou
(I was referring to the clip on GalCiv in the above comment......forgot to specify that..)
Rusty, there are a few problems with that: 1) we are in metro Detroit (no high rises, we're in a one story building)) 2) there are no cubicles 3) "I" am the one who tackles people for not making more coffee IPlural, I hope that you are feeling better. The story of your daughter made me smile. Sounds like something my daughter would do. Except, she would blame it on one of the dog
I think we also have to think at this "war" in its entirety. The main objective of the US is to go in, eradicate Saddam and his supporters, then help the people rebuild their government (and, help them prosper). Say, that instead, the people somehow got enough of an edge to overthrow Saddam and his army. (Which, first Saddam would have to be disarmed of WMD and the people would somehow have to get arms, which would be hard, but just say that they did). So, how many people (ci
OK, Fuzzy! You can try out the slide, but watch for the last turn, it's coated with chocolate syrup to make it nice and slippery!
Grayhaze, you know I love you, but saying "Americans will believe what their government and the media want them to believe." is quite offensive. I take everything that "my" government does with a grain of salt. I also don't believe in everything they do (especially during the Clinton years.) I am patriotic, but that doesn't mean that I believe everything the media and government pushes my way. It doesn't take a brain child to know that the media is going to push for war (why would
Crest teeth: had braces, or not
***SPLASH*** That was fun! Anyone else want to try out the slide?
oh, daughter wants to play with the smileys again....and now, a word from Maddie: <img src="http://images.stardock.com/i
/me is done constructing her slide watch out, Fuzzy, I'm about to make a big splash in the coffee lake!
Nothing better than rebuilding parts during holidays. I spent a 4th of July cleaning a tranny with a tooth brush. It was my Dads way of punishing me for smokin' the clutch I have an 86 Trans-am that has a carb on it. It is a V8 and gets as good of mileage as my 03 Monte Carlo. Cars are crazy beasts.
email T-shirt or polo shirt?
da_zman20, you are correct on how a hybrid works, but wrong on your assumptions on the engine portion of it. As a little back info, since most people think that women don't know much about the mechanical workings of engines, my family drag races as a hobby. I have also rebuilt an engine myself, and am constantly learning about them. So, I have a pretty good grasp on it. Now, there are a couple very basic things to keep in mind when talking about the fuel efficiency of cars:
/me starts constructing the coffee slide for the coffee lake (this should be fun)....
hmmmm....a relaxing massage from werewolf followed by a dance lesson from fuzzy and a good spanking of feline and GM! That sounds like a good way to start Monday! Then, we can all go skinny dipping in the coffee lake!
