I am thinking that, unless people quit attacking each other in this thread, it needs to be dropped. As I said before, this is a volatile topic that can lead to hatefulness among members of this community. If people want to *debate* the current political actions, then that is OK. But, if people are going to attack each other (which has already started) this thread needs to be dropped. We don't need a war between our own community.

/me thinks that GM will make a fine Journeyman one day, too. Master Apprentice is only one notch down from Journeyman, if anyone wondered. Most people on the site are citizens or apprentices. To get to be a Journeyman, the admins have to notice things you do (like skins and stuff, or helping people) along with activity on the board and general community activity. On top of that, you have to stick around a long time. So, Feline and Fuzzy aren't up on the IRC (#stard

kona0197: "Myself, I'm gonna go buy a hybrid." How will that help? They don't get any better mileage than a Jetta TDI (the diesel version) currently. (That is in *real* driving conditions. The Car mags can provide you information on that.) If they don't get better gas mileage, that means that they are polluting just as much as the other cars. The technology just isn't there yet. There is a long way to go before hybrids and alternate fuel technology actually makes sense. If people

Yes, stress is not good. I am sure that it doesn't help the flu and it definitely does not help your shoulder. Hope you get a good night sleep now that she left and that you wake up feeling much better!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY ON SUNDAY FUZZY!!!!!!! All of you guys (Fuzzy, Feline and Werewolf) have been great WinCustomize and Stardock supporters and have been extremely active and impartial. The "Journeyman" status is a well deserved "Thank you" for just doing what you do. (Now, I need to get Feline and Fuzzy as active on #stardock as Werewolf is....) There have not been that many people who have made it to Journeyman, so I think it's really cool that 3 of them are people I get to talk to ever

blame Fuzzy It appears that Fuzzy and Werewolf know that they are Journeymen now, but has Feline realized it? (Thanks for the pages of bug reports, Feline, they really *do* help) Darn, getting to 7,000 and the weekend is coming up. I hope I don't miss the excitement <img src="http://images.stardock.com/i

GM, what broblems are you having with the skin browser? The skin browser is completely seperate from Stardock Central (you can even keep updated with it using Stardock Central). Drop me an email at [email protected] with your browser problems and I'll try and get them fixed for you. Hmmmmm....so Fuzzy is making a plan already to get the 7000th post, huh? I'm stickin' with my plan of turning his "journeyman" into "exiled" when we hit the 6999th post until the 7001st p

If the wallpapers "suck", why did you download 100 of them? (It's like saying about a restaurant: your food is awful and the portions are small) We have a download cap if you are not either a contributor or a paid member. We are not a "wallpaper site" and do not claim to be. We are a skinning site that has a wallpaper library to compliment the skins. The skins are moderated (unlike most sites) and we remove any ripped work that we find. If you don't like the site, don't come here.

Why is it national news? To give parents of missing children hope. To actually have a *positive* story come out for a change. I don't listen to the news. It seems that everything is based on the negatives of the world, and never the positives. The world depresses me too much to pay close attention to the news. I rather spend the time with my family enjoying life. I think it's great that she was found. And, I'm glad we heard about it. People have told be that they

kona0197, you *do* need to do some research. Diesels have the same emissions standards as gas engines. You are comparing a semi to a gas engine. How many semis have gas engines in them? (Go find that one out) What are the 2003 EPA emissions standards? My husband works at a very large diesel engineering company, he works on engines that are used by buses, ambulances, semis, and other large uses. Trust me, each year the emissions standards get tighter and tighter (a few diesel manufacturers

I think that the current fuel cell technology is where we should be headed, but with diesel instead of gas as the fuel supply. For example, a diesel engine in a Jetta gets about 49 mpg (I had one, so I can verify it is true) whereas the same car with a gas engine (at very best) will get 30 mpg. So if you were using diesel while cruising (which is where it is fuel efficient) and the fuel cell around town, then you would have a lot less use of oil products (plus, diesel is a lot less r
