kthxbye, no offense, but you only talked about Medicaid and Medicare. I was referring to the low cost health plans that were available on top of them. I don't know what state you live in, but Michigan has one that fills in the gaps. Yes, it is mainly for Children, but it is only $5 per month. There are other ones, too, that are offered by private institutions, but you have to look for them. Even when I was living in Metro Detroit, before I started at Stardock, I still found healthcare on my

Paxx, I think that you need to look into how healthcare works in the US, as you obviously don't have all the facts. As I said, there are a lot of basically free healthcares out there (on top of Medicare and Medicaid), you just have to take the time to enroll in them. It's a "help yourself" type thing. There are also many free clinics (I donate to a free Womens clinic every year), but the person has to look for them. You will also not lose your house because you have a $100,000 medical bill.

OC, and GM, I have fishies, too. We have a 55 gal tank and a 10 gal tank (which we use as a hospital tank if one of the big fishies gets sick). OC, you have a 129 gal tank? That must be one big tank. What kind of fish are in it? I find the 55 gal to be enough to upkeep. I can't imagine taking care of all those tanks. Do you use a diatom filter? We use one about once a month. Keeps the tank nice and clean. Use it to suck out the stuff in the rocks, too. Daughter is finally doin

I have a cell phone, but don't talk while driving. I think that the hands free is much better, but any distraction is bad. Be it cell phone, eating, turning around to look at your kid, messing with the radio....they are all distractions from what you should be doing- driving. I am on the road a lot. (55 mile commute each way to work) and I see a lot of stupid things. There are very few times that a person using a phone (and I am talking about handheld, because it's harder to

We are working on it. It's on a server that they hacked into and they guy who has the server doesn't even know what ftp is. We are trying to walk him through it. I believe that Larry is also contacting others that we found and has "case files" open with them. This stuff takes a bit of time to get fixed, but it will hopefully be fixed soon.

Paxx, we do have socialized medical, it's called medicare and medicaid. Some of our tax money goes toward it. You have to meet certain qualifications to get it, but it is there. There are also very cheap healthcare plans for people who live in poverty (Michigan has one that is $5 a month). but, the person actually has to apply for it. Yes, it is not free to everyone, but it is there. There are also many managed healthcares that are less expensive and have 100% coverage. We get taxed less
