FL- Win95? *gasp* *Choke* *Gag* need...water..... We don't even support 95 anymore. It's way too old. Though, I'm not sure, but I think I might take 95 over WinME

It depends on what you use the PC for. Since you are here, and obviously like to customize, I would say "yes". It has all the goodness of 2000 with extra goodness. Plus, a lot of new programs are written for XP, so they run better on XP than on previous versions of Windows.
video drivers will do that to you. My laptop had some "issues" with XP until I upgraded my video drivers. The only time I have issues with my computer now is when my husband messes something up. (Now....isn't *that* a bit of role reversal?)
he he, FL
I asked the people who should know, and they said "February". I would assume mid February, but I really don't know for sure.
Here's my "support" response: Please note that this is a "canned" response and may include steps that you have already taken: Please follow these steps if you are getting an expired warning in the WinCustomize Skin Browser: Make sure that you have installed the most recent version by getting a link from www.stardock.com/support While at WinCustomize, open your "edit account" and cross reference your email accounts (SkinBrowser purchase with WC). If you are n
The only things that I can think of are: cookie issues or, they are trying to use their info to log into the store when buying something (it has a returning customers log on). Obviously, they can log on to the site....so that isn't the problem. Not really sure with this, and the other thread makes no more sense than this one.....
Glad you got it all worked out! I think that OD is definitely worth the $$$$, but I may be a bit biased
Werewolf, congrats on getting XP! It really *is* a lot better OS than the others.
Than each of what? Not all states in the US are the same. Some have extremely low crime rates. Some have very little poverty. Where are the stats on that comparison? The point is, is that each *state* in the US could be considered a country. If they were all governed completely with their own laws, I think that they would all be quite different. (Just compare California to Alaska). You just can't compare the entire US to a country that has that small of a population. I think tha
SLOWTYPER, where did you enter your email address incorrectly? What "Camera" do you mean? Please give more details.
I translated that, and it does not make any sense. Anyone speak French who could translate that to English?
It only supports XP at this time. XP is quite different than the previous OSes, so I really wouldn't suggest it.
I never look at statistics like that "rating a country". I don't know how you can rate a country with the population of the US against the population of Norway. The US has a population of about 287,000,000. Norway is about 4,500,000. Even Canada is only about 32,000,000. If you combine the "top 5", you still only have the population of roughly 1/3 of the US (the top 5 add up to a population of 75,500,000). Trust me, there is a massive difference in how the "quality of life" is depending on
OC, congrats on the "NEW Braun Espresso machine". Hmmm.....I think I have a new friend /me gives Fuzzy Logic a groping hug since he feels left out of Elf and Felines groping hug.....poor Fuzzy.... GM-"even my fishies are right in the world right now, since they just had a super bath..." You
It's true that the serials are attached to the "purchaser". It's pretty easy to find the person who "releases" this stuff once we see a serial number. Unfortunately, this is nothing new to us. I'm sure that somebody could have a full time job fighting warez.
I thought maybe he turned into Yosimte Sam- "What in recarnation is goin' on here?"
Doesn't anyone else see the irony in MSN having issues with XP? he he Do you have XP Pro or Home? I had MSN on XP and didn't have any problems. Is this MSN 7 or 8? If you only have 7, you may need to upgrade to 8. Also, you may have your internet security too high, or have the firewall enabled (as is suggested already)
Best place to report this stuff is the newsgroups- news.stardock.com There is a WindowBlinds newsgroup The developers and others also hang out on our irc channel: irc.stardock.com #stardock
Employees have stocks? When? Stardock is a private company, so sorry, there are no stocks available.
cute! Very cute!
They think it will make them look "cool"
GM-"FL: May not be long now before they have me 'fixed' Uh Oh.... what doc is that? Getting 'fixed' sounds a little suspicious to me. goodmorphing wonders if this means that we will have to make room for another soprano on our chorus?" I was thinking the same thing. Why do they call it "fixed" when they are really "breaking" something? I have three dachshunds, all of which have been "fixed". They are still mad at me......
My daughter is sick again. Just when she seemed to be getting better, she started running a fever again. Now she is complaining about her ear and throat hurting. Poor girl. She has been sick for a week now At least she will be seeing the Dr. today, so hopefully he will be able to help her. Has everyone ese been keeping healthy? At least I haven't caught the flu, yet.
Thanks, IPlural and stark23x! I'm glad that other people realize this. Makes me feel a lot better. I have worked here at Stardock a long time, and every now and then I just get burnt out with dealing with the "anti-corporation" people. The "anti-corporation" people seem to not be able to see the "people" aspect of all this. I *work* at Stardock. It is what pays my bills. This isn't done for the fun of it (though, it is fun <img src="http://images.stardock.com/images/smiles/lol.gif" border=0
