Through an odd series of events, I was led to a listing of a local Dachshund Rescue. What was the listing for? Two puppies! Their Mom was rescued from a Puppy Mill, and she was pregnant when she was rescued. So, I was able to adopt two perfect little weiner dog puppies. The tan one is named Chester, and he is a boy. It's not like she *has* to pump that often. Yeah, it is uncomfortable to wait, but I guess that is something that she needs to decide. It's amazing how many special treatments that people ask for. She's taking a medical licensing exam- I think she may not be cut out for the medical profession if she can't figure out how to get through a 9 hour exam with 45 minutes of break time no matter what her circumstances are. Come on, it's one freakin' day.
My Uncle (by marriage) has a CDL, but still gets turned down for trucking jobs due to his weight. If you aren't physically able to climb all over the place and move quickly, then they won't hire you. He ended up driving a school bus because they had a lot more lenient physical requirements.

I hate this argument. I've heard it before. It's called rationalization. Even if the mom's aren't giving the kids absolute attention the way a working mom may (and how do you measure this?) when she gets home from work, there is something to be said about just having mom's presence in the home with them.
