The problem is the optics, at present digital ones are still aimed at the mass market, thats where the quick money is made. It has nothing to do with optics. 35mm and digital SLR's (DSLR) use the same lenses. The difference is the CCD accepting the image instead of film. A DSLR will cost more (new technology does), but they are not inferior to 35mm. The biggest issue that people run into with digital is printing

Its easy to point out to Christians when they don't quite meet the standard they try to live up to. Lots of athiests and such are the first to point such out "hey you arent living a Christian lifestyle" when they themselves live a life the way they want, however they want. I think you missed that point. You are the one setting the standards for people to live which should be the same standards that you live for. You are a Christian saying

Remember to clean the appliances and around and under them. Also, clean the drains. A lot of smell comes from poorly cared for plumbing. When you clean the carpets, use the hypoallergenic soap. It puts a hypoallergenic coating on the fibers and will trap in a lot of smell (not dirt). Scrubbing the walls is almost as much work as painting them. Just painting over walls will decrease the smells.

I like the third one a lot, but I would leave the wings overlapping on the top like the 2nd one. I think it gives a nice depth. I'd also suggest having all the antennae create the same shape (the free ones) for symmetry and balance. I can envision the yin yang being is a classic black and white with the bodies and outline of the dragonflies in dark green or another subtle dark color.. The bright colored wings of the dragonflies (in hot colors like red, orange, and ye

LOL Busted! Now that she is walking, you'll need to really stash the treats away! Who could get mad at those chubby cheeks, though?

Gimme chinese food, it can't be any worse than what Richmond has to offer. Yikes! I don't know if I could handle that. I guess I'd end up having to buy as many fresh ingredients as I could and prepare stuff from scratch. That's pretty awful, though. Kind of reminds me of how they were relabeling eggs and selling them as

I'll be glad when we get a new president just so Gene has somebody new to blame....Oh, but wait! I bet if it is a Democrat, that everything will still be what "Bush didn't do while in office". gack... I think that we need to start blaming the States a bit more and quit acting like we're socialists.

"We are more interested in price than quality no matter where it comes from" I think that is in part due to the general greed of this company. We want everything and we want it cheap. I buy things because of quality. I rather pay more in the beginning than to have to replace it (I also hate being wasteful). However, I know many people who are more the "quantity over quality" types. I'm not even sure that people look for a

I think this is natural selection at work. Come on- if you are that allergic to a food item, why the heck are you eating someplace that is known for mistakes and poorly prepared food? On top of that- you didn't even bother looking at it before you eat it? I check out my food before I eat it whenever I go out to eat- no matter where. I'm not allergic to anything, but I want to make sure that there isn't anything "extra" in the food, and that it's cooked correctly.

I had a Birthday party for my husband over the weekend, and there was a discussion about how everything is made in China nowadays. It started by him opening a gift from me. It was a pair of shoes. The company used to make the shoes in the US, now they are made in China. "Isn't everything?" I said. Everyone started talking about this, that and everything else that was made over there. Then we started talking about food. As we know, the pet fo

Green screens are a pain in the butt. The problem is lighting. Everything has to be so flat (no shadows) to come out right. Then, when placing the subject on a new background, the new background and subject need to have the same lighting, or it's obvious that it's a green screen capture. You are on the right path. I started out the same way. This was my homemade background and "test" shot: <IMG alt="" hspace=0 src="http://www.angelamarshall.com/photos/oth

Its just a simple fact of life - wishing for something dont make it so, doing does, and even then it may not happen. Questions: How does me being peaceful cause others to be so? How do you "fight" for peace? Its Life - anyone clinging to a High School concept of World Peace is going to meet those nice young men in their clean white coats pretty quickly .... So, is world peace ever possible

There will be an outcry based on this peace (universal happiness) Darmagirl speaks of. But what if these 5% don’t live in a house by choice? Not exactly a comparison. Do any of the people who have been murdered (either on US soil, or in war) do so because they chose to? Being homeless may be peaceful to some people. Be

Good news is this compitition will not always be there. So unless we find some ET's to fight with there will eventually be peace on earth. I think you are quite wrong. We might not always be at war with another country, but we have plenty of war on our own soil. If we can't figure out how to keep people from killing each ot

Karma, I would love to see the stats that show that most of the murders in CA are children getting caught in the crossfire. I don't know the stats on California, but I know what I see on the news from Detroit. There isn't a single day that I have turned on the news and haven't heard about a kid being shot because they were in the wrong place at the wrong time. Hell, just the other day a little boy was killed while he sat in his living room

This is a really cool idea. For me, I have wanted to make my own vegetarian cookbook for quite some time. Since I can also do the photography (my dream job was originally a food photographer) I could complete the entire book myself without graphic help. All I would need is somebody to publish it. Well- viola! It could be on Amazon with very little effort. I doubt that it would make much money after they collect their fees, but it would nonetheless be published

I think comparing CA murder stats to Iraq war deaths is tacky. Why is that? Is it because you are closer to the war? Is somebody who dies after they enlist in the military more of a tragedy than the kid who gets shot by a drive by shooting because he was close to the targets house? If we can't keep our own citizens from killing each other, then how will be ever "lead" any other country on how to be peaceful? Can y

Im not arguing that 400 isn't a lot of money because its a good amount. But to say that 400 is a huge payment, I think thats an overstatement for a vehicle payment. I guess it is a matter of opinion -- but I think $400 is an outrageous amount for a monthly vehicle payment (unless it comes with a driver and then I might consider it!) I agree. I won't have a car payment over $300, and both my husband and I have decent jobs. An
