Hello, When a new update is detected (seemingly randomly), the update notification takes focus from whatever I'm doing. A few minutes ago it pulled me out of a full-screen game where I was competing for money. For now I will turn updates off. But could you please fix it so that it no longer takes focus? A simple Windows notification would be fine instead of a messagebox, or perhaps an option to only check for updates at startup. Thank you

Here we are a year later after the original post, and Fortnite just got this error with Start 10. It is indeed probably on Epic to fix. 14:35:09: [INFO] Blocked loading of file: "C:\Program Files (x86)\Stardock\Start10\start10_64.dll".

Hello, I moved some drives around in my system so a few of my drive letters changed. Now all the search results on Start 10 are still pointing to the old drive letters, causing the shortcuts to not work. This only happens in search, if I navigate to All Programs the links work correctly. How do I rebuild the search database?

I have indexing disabled, but newly installed programs are still added to the start search, so I doubt it's the Windows search index. Going to the Indexing Options doesn't even give me the Advanced option (it's grayed out since I have it disabled). On top of that, the missing programs DO appear if I use the Metro search functionality (typing on the tiles screen). It's only in Start 8 that they are missing. Thanks for your help.

Hello, Lately a number of my programs are not showing up when I use the "search programs and files" field on Start 8. For example, Internet Explorer. I know I have it, and it shows up if I open up "All Programs," but searching for "internet" used to bring it up as a search result, and now it doesn't. Other programs have begun to be affected as well. Any way to fix this? Thanks
