Upvote for #2, bring back the old progress bar. I don't know what Microsoft was thinking. The difference between the standard look of a running app and one with a progress bar over 50% is almost imperceptible.
Windows 10 used to have a green progress meter that was the full height of the taskbar button and moved across behind the icon. Can you recreate that effect in Start11?
In Start11, using the Windows 10 theme, does it not support the Windows 10 Start Menu "folder" feature? I guess it is called folders. The feature where you drag an icon onto another and they combine into a folder group or a sub-group.
I found the full list of apps in "My Download" as you suggested. It downloaded and appeared to install fine. Thanks for the suggestion. Weird that Object Desktop Manager prevents the installation of the IconDeveloper app.
I had recently purchased an ran Object Desktop Manager which shows IconDeveloper v2.13 in a section called "Not Compatible". If I try to check the box to download anyway it give a message saying "IconDeveloper is not compatible with your version of Windows." Since the website only lists Windows 7 as a compatible OS then I assumed that was the reason. If it works fine on Windows 7, then Object Desktop Manager needs to be fixed. How can I work around the problem?
Are there any plans to update IconDeveloper to run on Windows 10?
Well, just got the March issue. I actually remember the OS/2 days and all that talk about the multi-threading in Galactic Civilizations. That was back when I felt like I was playing with real computing power while everyone else was just piddling around in Windows 3.1. Those were fun times.
