Thanks for the clarification. Also, is there something in the interface where you can find out the chances of planets flipping? And perhaps they could change the wording. If i read things like 'invaded planet' and 'your planet got annexed' sound a lot more like the results of military action then some 'flipping' mechanic.

Bug or WAD? AI stealing my ships in Galactic Civilizations III GalCiv3 Forums

Playing my first game atm, and started invading some AI planets. Every now and again, I get a message that my planet is invaded (no enemy troopships visible though). Any ships I have at that planet, keep my logo, but are defending the now enemy planet.
