Fences 6 fence creation does not give option to create new fence in Fences Stardock Forums

I have installed Fences 6, replacing existing license for Fences 5. After download, I am no longer able to create a new fence. I draw a rectangle, then get no prompt to create a new fence. Please advise. Moved to Fences area

Logged onto my laptop this morning to find a black screen with my desktop icons organized correctly but no Fences visible. how do I restore yesterdays config of fences?
