I like Flooter for the gold because of the overall gray hue that is hit with splashes of color on just the right icons. The style of the icons and the gray bring it all together as a themed package, yet the "hits" of color make it exciting so that the package as a whole doesn't have the same look to every icon, which makes some packages kind of "blah." For silver, I would choose Novacons. Looks very themed yet each icon is different enough to hold its own. Bronze...hmmm...how about Cardi

This is a dumb question but...do you have the latest version of DX installed? Some of the newer objects only work with the newest version without problems. (I personally never use the beta that is often available because of the same type of problems.) Hmmm...just thinking. In the Object Dock Library, it would be helpful to have an additional heading entitled, "Animated objects." Then I wouldn't have to scroll through everything when I only want to look new animations.

Yay! I'll be waiting for the toolbar icon section. (Hopefully Jairo will be making some toolbar icons!) As for boot screens, that doesn't interest me. I never watch my pc as it boots up. I like using WebBlinds along with WindowBlinds but I see that there are hardly any WebBlinds skins in the library. Why is that? Do people just not use them a lot or are they incorporated into another program (WinStyles, for example)and I just need to "pull them out"? (I don't like to use the entire ObjectDesktop program.) Are skinners just not that interested in WebBlinds? Or is it the users? Is there a newer program that people like better and that's why I don't see many WebBlinds? Maybe

I'm so happy that I found this thread. I, too, have the same problem. I am not in any way, shape or form an intelligent person when it comes to "repairing" something that is missing from my computer, especially a .dll. My DX was working great when suddenly the same problem arose...Msvcr70.dll was not found. I haven't known what to do, so I just left it and tried to avoid using it. I was just about to close IE and remove DX from my computer when I happened to think about checking the message

Thanks. Right now, all I want to do is play with things to get used to using them. I was downloading some themes using WinStyles because it does all the work for me! The themes don't usually look like what is advertised because anything that is for XP isn't applied to my system...or maybe it is getting applied somehow and causing my problems...I'm not sure. Unfortunately, I still use Windows 98 and would like to use OD to the best of my abilities...limited, as they may be. My system keeps crashing after installing the OD cd, so I have put a minimum of the programs on it. What components do I NEED, at the minimum, to run it successfully? What components should I avoid?
