I'm having the exact same issue. Even after a clean install of windows it starts creating new desktop icons on a second monitor as soon as I install Fences whether it's a shortcut or a downloaded file. I have gone through the link provided by AzDude and everything is in order. Tried logging a support ticket but got pointed to the forums.
