Thanks, yes, I should create a folder called "icons" - in fact I will do that now :) In fact, rather than browse everywhere for particular icons on my computer I'll just dump all .ICO files that I find in that folder, then select from that folder whenever I need to change the icon for one particular file. I am using Win 8.1 I don't have a specific icon picked out yet, but was hoping to scroll through a list to see if I could find one I thought would be appropriate. If I can find out how to do that, I can apply that method to assigning any other icon to any other shortcut. Regards, Graham
Hello friendly people! Maybe I am not looking in the right place, but is there a way to assign a specific icon to a single shortcut link I have created on my desktop? It's to a program and includes a buttload of command line variables.
