Thanks for all the replies! I guess what I'm worried about mostly is a lack of personality and excessive micromanagement. My favorite game of all time is MOO 2, followed closely by SMAC and HOMM 3. I really love turned based strategy games. Therefore when I saw Space Empires IV all of the features on paper seemed really good and I picked it up. What a disapointment. Why should I buy Gal Civ? in Galactic Civilizations I Stardock Forums

Hi all, I'm a big fan of the 4X genre was defintely planning on getting MOO3 when it eventually comes out. I just recently came across Gal Civ, and was wondering since both Gal Civ and MOO3 will come out roughly at the same time what makes Gal Civ "better" than MOO3. Like most people I have a limited budget to spend on games, and I just don't see myself buying two similar games at once. So all Gal Civ fans out please tell me why someone whould want to buy Gal Civ over MOO3! Thanks!
