The thing is I play mainly against AI and tend to turtle to build big armies to swarm enemies, that was how I played SupCom and similar games, and it seems this game's AI enjoys no added cost for orbital strikes with so much spamming. Wish there was a way to disable orbital strike altogether... :

I mainly play this game to enjoy massive battles, which is most easily achievable vs AI. But with orbitals in this game I often find it frustrating for my large armies to be annihilated in seconds even though I saw incoming bombardment and tried to move my big ass armies out of the way. Arimies are too big to move around, let alone maneuver out of orbital strikes :\ Late game challenging and higher level AIs get too much stored quanta or w/e the resources for orbital they spam it
