Thanks, all, I finally figured out to get it to download - recall that I went through my account's purchases, found the recent purchase with the key; then ran the 'free' version but used the key and it installed. Something like that.

I just purchased Fences 6 upgrade. I hit continue on the final page. The installer did NOT download to the desktop. I'm informed it's somewhere on a toolbar, but if so it's invisible. I tried going into my account, found the list of purchases, and tried to get f6 down that way - but it says if I continue it'll charge over 60 bucks for several pieces of software in the cart. All help gratefully appreciated. </
