Got an update today and now The Recent Items list works as before, BUT with a different background color? See screen - http://joxi.ru/Vrw9wq4SgWYM32 Is it intentional, or a a bug, or is there an option which controls it somewhere?

Ok, cool, no problem to wait. Just glad that you've addressed this thing I mentioned :)
Ok, but there I can only see the download button for v2.0 still - http://joxi.ru/E2p9wd4SjoOQyA And beta download for version 2.02 - http://joxi.ru/bmo9wW4SlGN8eA But I don't want to download beta. I always use stable release version, which 2.01 I dunno where to get :)
Great, but how can I update then? Pushing "Check now"button in About shows me a window which says that my software is up to date, yet the version is original 2.0.
I think the OP is talking about the Start11 "Recent Items" shortcut displayed as a menu on the Start11 menu. This hack, if it even works anymore, will not affect this menu. Take a look at his screenshot and you will see. This menu shows a full screen of recent documents and folders.
Exactly. So it seems like a work for the devs after all :(
Yo, guys! Several days ago I posted this question to the general Start11 v2 feedback thread but since nobody has replied and this is quite annoying, I am making a stand alone thread in hope that somebody shed the light on situation :) So, the question is - is there a way to control how many items "Recent Items" will show, cause I have just upgraded from 1.47 to 2.0 and this list fills ALL of my screen now (see screen - http://joxi.ru/v29
Yo, guys! Is there a way to control how many items "Recent Items" will show, cause I have just upgraded from 1.47 to 2.0 and this list fills ALL of my screen now (see screen - http://joxi.ru/v29n1W6Hjnw8zA ), while before it showed 10 recent files or so. Is it a bug, or is there some option I didn't find of how to control it?
Have just installed the new version of Start11 and the feature I have requested is finally there and works as intended. Thanks, guys!
Yo! Several new versions of Start11 later this (relatively easy to implement?) feature is still not implemented. So, is it even in developers' queue to implementation or not? :) I.e. should I wait for its arrival or not? :)
That's what Das Keyboard support suggested, but it didn't work for my Windows 11. Dunno why :(
Hi, guys, Recently I have changed my keyboard to the one which has no "game mode" (game mode is when you push a dedicated key on a keyboard and it deactivates Windows keys so they do not open Start menu when you accidentally push them during a game), and now it is super annoying that I do not have this feature. I went looking to the Start 11 options and sadly there is no option to disable the Window key(s) there. Only various options of what it shall do. Can you please

Is Start 11 now responsible for broken drag-to-open-programs functionality to be broken? Before I could drag some files from Desktop to the open letter in The Bat! and they become attachments, now it is not possible (stop sign when trying to do that). And also all functionality of drag to attach/open for various websites is also broken - even if website says "drag files here to open them" and before it was working, now it is not possible. So the question is - is Start11 responsible or Microso

Additional drag to open improvement consideration. Although drag to open works in most scenarios now, at least one scenario is not working as it was natively in all previous versions of Windows. Specifically when you try to save the picture open in a browser by dragging it to Explorer (or other program, doesn't matter) on taskbar. Right now it shows "stop" icon and does not work. Please fix it :)
Hi, In comparison to version 1.2, when it was routinely corrupting taskbar and desktop icons for which was only one remedy - restart explorer, at least for now it seems like this problem has been fixed in 1.22 - for several days I am working normally and see no corruption of taskbar and desktop, whcih is good. Drag to open now also work properly for minimized and open windows alike - which is also cool. There are some quirks with this functionality, though, which I will try to record
Start11 should have no impact at all on your right clicks. Are you sure there isn't something else conflicting as explorer crashing doesn't automatically mean Start11 is the cause. If you open event log (Winkey + R, type eventvwr in the box that appears you will open event viewer. In that you can view logged events listed in time and date order. On the tree pick Windows Logs and then Application.
Are you able to put your screenshots / videos on some more internationally recognised websites? Youtube or dropbox or onedrive etc. Unfortunately we are unable to view files on those two sites you have used. It sounds like you are experiencing some sort of resource leak causing problems. If you are experiencing crashes then any information from the event log would be useful. I suspect a conflict be
Overall after several days of use I can say that version 1.2 is VERY unstable. On my machine it restarts itself seemingly randomly several times a day and sometimes I need to restart Explorer when taskbar and Start menu become corrupted. In no way this release is "release" quality, guys, more like still beta, or even alpha, I dunno :)
