If you're looking for speed, 5400rpm is not what you want. this is just one example. if you google 5400rpm vs 7200rpm you'll be able to check out other test comparisons. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4nrO7VH9TUs

What the heck is going on Down Under. Here's another article about your VPN's being pulled - http://www.myce.com/news/australian-isp-pulls-vpn-service-75672/
Starkers - I agree 100%.
kkunderwood You are just like so many others who gloss over the issue! When you loan or give your mother a good book to read, it is no longer in your possession. When you download a copy of a movie or music, you are cheating, nay stealing, from the copyright holder who was only paid for the original that hundreds or thousands are now using! You know there is a lot more piracy going around in the physical world than in the digital world. W
http://torrentfreak.com/aussies-set-for-200000-piracy-notices-per-year-under-new-code-150408/ Along time ago I gave a book to my mom after I was done reading it. Seems to be no harm in sharing a good book with someone. But by todays standards I would be braking copyright laws by not making her buy her o
so your totally ignoring the article which says the "systems" have caught up with the hardware??? irrelevant whether you boot once a day or once a year, if you have to reboot three or four times to get this machine going something is definitely wrong. I would think you would be more curious to get to solve the problem and get back with us as to how
Overkill for high end gamers the double Intel Xeon 5500 5600 CPU's, 64gbtddr ram and 3 GEForce 980's and the Gigabyte Waterforce cooling system. Bugatti!! <img class="alignnone size-thumbnail wp-image-242520" title="Gigabyte Waterforce Revi
I was just curious to know if you were still have boot time problems? I ran across this article which includes info on ASUS A99motherboards. http://www.kitguru.net/components/ssd-drives/luke-hill/intel-ssd-750-series-1-2tb-pcie-nvme-review/2/ Software, driver, and boot support has been a hurdle for NVMe. An industry consortium has worked to implement enhanced driver support across many operating systems. Mo
Opera has had this feature in their browser for quite awhile. When the initial browser comes up press CTR +SHFT + N the secondary privacy browser pops up. there is no need to delete history because there is none. Also if you do the same in Google you will see the message "YOU.VE GONE INCOGNITO." I can suggest 2 programs to try. First one is Unlocker 1.9.2 which is free http://www.emptyloop.com/unlocker/ . it looks for a program - to which the program your try to delete is attached to. it will kill the process and then delete. in extreme cases as Flexnet it should delete the program upon a reboot. if it is still there after reboot there can be other files loaded on you
Personally I'm going to hold out for the "Chucky" doll. It will give me a great opportunity to screw with all the people and companies behind the curtain.
Just curious since I'm interested in a M2 card for a future build. One tip I read is to unplug all other storage units for it to be recognized in bios. I don't believe this boot problem is a motherboard issue since the Z99 is built for this type of card. Or like you said earlier, just wait for Windows 10 to hopefully catch up to all of the new hardware coming on to the scene.
Went to check on some useful reviews of this M.2 Card. faster than a speeding bullet. The reviewers who bought this seem to have a handle on how to make it bootable and recognized. hope this is helpful!! http://www.amazon.com/Samsung-XP941-512GB-80mm-PCIe/product-reviews/B00JOSM3TK
VERYYY NICE!!!!! I have an Asus Maximus V Formula motherboard that features a PCIe combo connection. Essentially I have a Samsung 250GB PM830 SSD mSATA card connection for extra cache and faster boot times. <span style="font: 12px/18px 'Segoe UI', Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; color: #333333; text-transform: none; text-indent: 0px; letter-spacing: normal; word-spacing: 0px; float: none; display: inline !important; white-space: normal
Another update ; http://www.kitguru.net/components/graphic-cards/anton-shilov/nvidia-we-will-not-boost-geforce-gtx-970-performance-with-drivers/ I don't think anyone knows how they are going to correct this fiasco.

Very Nice affordable machine. I don't want t o put a damper on the build but you might consider another video card. I decided to add the Weather docklet to the bar, just to see if it was working. After setting the zip code, it came up showing 98* F, and the 5-day temps all being in the upper 80's. Problem is where I'm at it's really 48* F. Even after the Update it still show's 98* F. I open up the website to AccuWeather and it shows the current correct temperature as 48* F. I guess I just don't care about the weather that much since I don't have
I quit fooling around with that long ago. Basically I just put the URL on the desktop - in this case the Weather Channel - http://www.weather.com/ ,attach it to the dock create a custom Icon for it and I'm good to go. I don't go on to it everyday, I can just look out my window, but it never fails to connect. Hope you see this as a working alternative.
This will be my last entry on this subject as it seems the status quo will remain the same, and if the Master Skinners are happy I'm tickled pink. Here is a figure that will blow your mind. I recently went on the Rocketdock website to see some of what was new. The original STACK DOCKLET was created in 2007 and is still one of the most popular downloads on that site. The person who created it offe
Thanks for sharing info Island dog. I respectfully disagree with some of your assumptions. Too many factors - what could they possibly be?? Please enlighten us. The other view is true too, that lowering prices COULD increase sales, but you'll never know until you try. It never hurts to talk and test the waters before you jump. If all Master
Thank you Lighstar, if you say it is fair which, I agree (it is their software that makes this all possible) then we will go from there. These numbers are random projected sales - no research behind them just what if... trying to find the sweet spot. $9.95 X 5 = $49.75 - 35% for Stardock gets $17.41 Skinner gets $32.44 (to the skinners who
