I just hope stardock won't remove the bottombar of start menu.The new win10 menu seems the bottombar is disappeard,it would be better to leave it or optional in settings like the userpane.

If you mean the search field text in address you can go to SKS- change skin colours and click the combo boxbutton and choose - show me the skin defined system colours and search windows text .This area can be change not just what you like but it also affect some other parts of explorer so be careful

Well for me when disabling WB it fixes the problem with some skins.

Try to change the combo box button from bmp to png in SKS.That would fix the issue temporary instead of rolling back to old version.I hope it would help you.
