hi and thanks for these suggestions before i try this i noticed something odd - after a bit of time the desktop view disappears and a animated screensaver appears - with full motion - but when i install any animated screensaver that does not work -at all - - so i have a static animated screensaver and if i wait for the laptop to sleep or hibernate the pre existing animated screensaver works fine . let me know if you can figure out what is happening ?&

i downloaded 2 animated screens to my download folder and neither worked- i went to the link in you tube and they work fine on you tube where does deskscape save its downloads ?
