While the UP may have been invented by Terrans, it doesn't mean that the people who created it are supporters of the Terran government.

"I hope one of the designers sees this post" Seeing as how one of them has already responded to it, I'd say it's a given. As for your comments, the designers have toned down the action of the game to develop other areas of the gameplay, and I very much doubt they will include it now, as it was never part of thier original design.
Chill out pal, all he said was that waypoints arent crucial to HIM, noone said the game was perfect or that there is no room for improvement. Btw, although there you are right about there not being a suggestions forum, there IS a sticky suggestions post that the devs are reading, so you might want to put all future ideas in there to save space.
I've had it even worse. I had conquered all of the Drengin planets except some backwater colony off in the boonies. The Drengin had NO MILITARY, and wouldn't allow peace for a measly 600 bc. Maybe if the AI is set to a higher level, then they will be smart enough to realize how screwed they are. :)
I think it works like this: Good civs are liked by other good civs, hence better relations with them. Evil civs dont give a damn about other Evil civs, and good civs hate them.
Simple, all you gotta do is get a bunch of music you like and put them in a directory, then you go to the game menu and and turn on the playlists, then load the player up and specify the directory they are in.
Oops! Double post. Go post in the other thread and let the moderators delete this one.
I'm looking for some good music for my playlists. Right now I've divided them up into 2 sections: Peace music and War music. So far I've managed to get a pretty sizable amount of peace music, but I've only found Holt's "Mars" to be any good for the kind of war music I'm looking for. Does anybody know of some music similar to Mars that I might be able to find? It would be greatly appreciated.

I agree, I really don't see why my peace-loving empire should have such a horrible tax put upon it just because the Yor or the Drengin want to take my worlds.
On second thought, ignore my above post and just mark me down as supporting JavaScouts assessment of the situation.
Oh come on StarGalax, there is plenty of Galciv bashing on the MOO3 forums, so don't act like it's localized here. A lot of the people here have played MOO3 and were very dissapointed, so a lot of this "bashing" is just people who are venting thier dissapointment. As for everybody seeing how great MOO3 is when it gets patched, I still think that a lot of people are going to have issues with the fundamental design that a few patches will not fix for them. So it's kinda presumtious to
And thank you Brad foar your commitment to this incredible game and your willingness to help us fans. I'm sure I'm not the only one who's interest in this game was based partly on your dedication towards the community. Well done! :CONGRAT:
I'm sure they could somehow indicate which ship belonged to whom, but I suppose it would be really confusing if multiple races had multiple trades
Out of curiosity, do the ships you buy from other races keep the graphic of the race you bought them from, or do they change into the Human graphic ships? I think it would be cool if the ships retained thier original graphic.
Err, my above post was directed to #14
Lol, you mean to tell me that games should only be reviewed by people who the Developers are targeting for the sales? MOO3 and Galciv are different games sure, but they are part of the same Genre, and seeing how Klemeroni is a fan of TBS games I don't see why his review should be snubbed because he has certain graphical or gameplay preferences. Other TBS players who may be thinking of buying Galciv may have the same preferences as he does, so in that way the review is usefull to them.
Bias? Leiavoia directly stated that he liked it better than MOO3 and you can obviously see that DDW really likes the game by reading his ending comments. The only person one who wasn't to happy with it was Klemeroni, but he still recommended it to strategy players. To me it looks like a very honest set of reviews if ever there was one.
Wow, that was beautiful. The drama, the humiliation, the despair as the Yor swept across the galaxy, and the final victory. Great stuff! Hope to see a few more of these before the game comes out.
Accident as well. Was browsing blues news when I read something about an interview apolyton was doing about some new 4x space game.
Pretty sure something like #13 already exists
God, a lot of the stuff being suggested here sounds really awesome! If they managed to implement all this stuff then I don't think I'd see a boring game of Galciv, ever!
#10 Shadow Council- A small, shady, secretive orginization forms in your empire composed of powerfull business men, key military personnel, members of opposing political parties, and other influential members of society. Thier combined objective? To remove you from power by destabilizing your regime using subterfuge and sabotage and then to put thier appointed puppet in your place. These guys will do all sorts of nasty stuff. They will sabotage your military projects, cause unrest in your
