So...I find myself a bit confused/curious about the vision for the planet side of things, in conjunction with your desire not to have the resource management/strategy elements of SC2. Could you expand a bit on what you mean by "A fun, planetary exploration experience"? What is our motivation for exploring planets? What are we looking for, or collecting? Well, I am one of those Superfans, I suppose, though the Spathi are not my favorite aliens. With that said, I don't really have a problem with a reboot that doesn't include the already existing aliens. My favorite part of playing Star Control, and Then SC2, was the exploration. Because creating an MMO Star Control would take development away from a single player Star Control and I would rather play a Single Player SC
Why in the world would that be? Star Control is one of my favorite game series of all time. Star Control 2 is easily one of my top 5 games of all times. I'm very happy about this reboot of the series, and I don't want to see a Star Control MMO. How is it being a dick to voice my opinion on a question directly asked?
