I put them in My Games/GalCiv3 and all is fine.
Submitting a ticket used to work a few months ago but now no. I have tried Cyberfox, Waterfox and IE.
The pics are all png of dif sizes. Leader_FG Leader_BG Logo Portrait

I am able to buy/trade for another races starbase but shipyards are not listed. Blowing up a potential ally shipyard may not help much.
I am not able to scroll using the right scroll bar, mouse or arrow keys.
Using a custom race.
hex lines (not hexes) are in my minimap with 13 players on insane map.
The scroll bar will not work but I can choose the last listed then move down using my mouse wheel.
In the screen to pick your race the race trait for gentle is clipped.
Found the problem. It is leader vs race descriptions.
ATM I am wanting to customize the starting planet and available techs to this faction without going into the xml files.
My custom race description is there when I edit my faction but in the screen to choose which faction you want the description does not show.
I have been able to add BG, FG, Logos and Portraits to the editor and be able to make a custom one. Others that have problems making the right pictures (size, type, transparency) may want the ability a choose a picture from file and all would be made for them. Another thing is when I want to edit the faction I have to click on "copy". could you change this to "Edit". Last I want to make my Tri start on a frozen planet and only be able to colonize regular worlds u

With the faction editor and XML editing and Modding you could make your own races so the game is unbalanced tremendously.
Just like there is a quick start could there also be a quick load/resume so there is only one click to continue a game instead of click, search, click.
Instead of opening each SB to see what modules are there to decide if they need a constructor. How about adding a mouse over list of what modules are there. With all these mouse over lists some may not be happy so maybe have to add options for what mouse overs you want to see and which ones you do not.
When I mouse over a ship I see lots of good info but I do not get the destination unless I click on it and follow the line or us my ship list to tell me.
The built-in fan control would have me 70-80 before it got serious about cooling. Using the HW to make my fans start sooner.
