In myfiles/factions I have a group of 3 files totaling 1.8g after making a zip of them. Could this be what you are looking for.

It looks to me like you need to re-install your DX or run tweaking.com in safe mode to reset some stuff and hope it works. On second thought do you have the StarTrek mod installed and do not have all the DLC it needs.

Common Wealth Join a Civ in Galactic Civilizations III GalCiv3 Forums

Just like Texas was independent and joined the US can a Common Wealth join your civ when you have a govt that can have that many planets.

I have 7 and only 16 and use AMD Radeon 7970M What I do is put the "NoMinSpec" in Steam/Game Properties/General/Set Launch Options and I put my virtual memory on my ssd at windows managed. The game calculations still take time but no crashing. Yet

Chess campaigns do not thrill me but figuring out how the mechanics work does. OAN Yearly changes is nice but when you were changing things every quarter it was taxing at times.

My next guess ould be some sort of anti virus/firewall or security software that locks out using system32 stuff. If that comes out zilch then could the OS lock that folder.

Either use a MOD or make one to change requirements for map sizes. With all the changes they do beware of slow downs.

When you invade you have the choice of what to use. In an older version it told me how much it would cost and the effects. Now can't say.

If it weren't for GCIII this herd member would be going to Umbuntu or ReactOS. Probably React since I am used to editing audio and video with windows programs.
