Ok, finally i made it to work, i tried first with the .exe file like GoaFan77 told me but had the result than before, then unninstalled Age of empires and and tried it again but that didn't work either so i finally unninstalled the gpu drivers and updated them again and that made the trick, i don't know why it didn't work the first time or if it was the combination of the gpu drivers plus Age of empires. To tell you the truth usually when i'm installing a game on steam i alwyas press the button next without reading [e digicons]:rolleyes:[/e] i only read them when i'm installing a game directly on windows or any other kind of program but on steam i get a little lazy and don't pay too much attention, but i guess there's a chance that it needed a different directx, let me give a try and unninstall age of empires.

Yes, but after backing them up in an usb just in case it wasn't my save files, any other clue of what might be happening with the game? BTW in a differete matter why i can't change my avatar and username in the forum? when i put the new username and type my password it doesn't accept it, all that i get is that my current password is invalid...wtf?
