Essentially what I meant was that a kid doesnt need a laptop.
EventHorizon
It's been useful for me, just don't expect them to do all of the games. Most of em come with a crappy video card. Hmm I would disrecommand alienware, even with kickass laptops, since laptops can't be upgraded too much and gets old pretty fast. I recommand a 1,500 to 2,000 buck range laptops, they'll do almost everything alienware can do. Useful a
One more 'clue'...All the WB's that I d/load dont work... (Just got Hellfire and GT2) But already installed ones work fine... Allrighty (*yawn*)...good luck... Oh great, Ive still got the dishes to do...
Youve got mail...
I would assume WB doesnt recognize it as a skin... *Reword* Possibly theres an error in the .uis (or something like that) that is preventing recognition...
There ya go Leo.
Err, Install from disk...
Hmm, well If I 'Import from disk', nothing happens... Niether from the zip or wba...
Ok, will do yrag... Thanks for your help.
I would assume WB doesnt recognize it as a skin...
Crud, still not working, when I click on the 'newly christened' .wba, it creates an empty folder...
Ok...will try Yrag...
Ok, Im not sure If I get what youre saying (past my bedtime already)...So in 13, you meant Zip the folder with the graphics and whatnot...or zip the .wba?
Done... now what?
SS..under..File>Zip for distribution.
Distribution*
Ok, whenever I have the skin in SS and I zip for distriuition, everything works just fine. But, when I try to open the file, it creates an empty folder in the windowblinds directory. Whats even weirder, is that I can open the *seemingly corrupted* .wba in SS, and find all the files perfectly intact. I can also load the skin with no problems from there...
Ok, Im working on it now...I think I found the problem... /me mutters to himself, "I cant believe I did that..."
BTW Laptops are over rated and hard to upgrade. Young as I am, I learned that one the hard way... They really are just an expensive novelty for those who dont really *need* them.
Ok, is anyone NOT having that problem?
Yikes, looks like everyone is having the same problem...
