Hey, I'm still working on my 1st skin...(Slowly but surely) And am having trouble with the text aligning itself to the left most portion of the titlebar. Like in PS, the A in Adobe Photoshop will be under the little PS icon. Anyone know how to fix this? (Hopefully, there arent a millon other threads about this particular problem)

We're anxiously awaiting your first release. Can't wait to see what you come up with. I agree, you cannot fully appreciate the work that goes into a winamp/windowblind/whatever skin unless you make one yourself...
Im with you a r ! They shouldn't be able to gawk at us unless we can gawk at them I second that!
Not yet A_67... And thx to you also, Madam Snowman.
Heh, thx China. Oh and you too pictoratus. "Happy Happy day..." Hmmm, thats a new one...
Well I uh... ...thanks! Chaz, you've got to work on your spelling...and its the 19th that is the day of note.
Ok paxx, sent mine. If anymore info is wanted, let me know. (Im too lazy to read thru this entire thread.)
Hey,the photoshop tutorial leads me to the StartSurfing Plus website... Anyone else have this problem?
The only problem Ive ever had with MS updating is when the gave me a new driver for my sound card...Which totally messed it up. And I had to rollback the driver...Other than that, no problems... As far as security, yes, I too think its overrated...but download em anyway. For proggy run speed and bootup time... (Semi-different issue) I use System Mechanic Industrial edition. My laptop used to take >5mins to boot up...I ran the regestry cleaner and invalid shortcut remover now it boots up in <1min
didn't know anything was wrong, but do hope shes feeling best soon Same here
Im on vacation for a year!! Sorta... Here in hawaii (Just moved) its always nice...

Very weird indeed... Sounds like a bot to me. What's really at the site? (Is too lazy to check himself)

So far, Ive used Terragen for about 5 and 1/2 months and have gotten the hang of it with a few exceptions...*ahem* (Click on my screen name and then click View authors skins) Its really quite easy to create images, its getting them good enought to be accepted is whats hard. (At least half of mine were rejected) But there
Oops thats Terragen not terrgen.
Gaurdian, try Terragen if you would like to do 3D landscapes...To see what Terragen is capable of in the hands of a master, go to: http://perso.wanadoo.fr/bianco/index2.html Luc bianco is the best terrgen artist Ive ever seen. Also, go to: Planetside.co.uk to download/learn about terragen.
Thx BoXXi for sharing those links! Got some nice and easy-to-understand tutorials there.
Ive never had more than 15" on a monitor...But, I dont really mind, since I dont play any high-level games. Just Age of Empires 2expn, Terragen and photoshop for me.
I know a guy who Is a total linux freak...As soon as Mandrake 9.2 came out, he ordered it, and cursed the postal company for not delivering it fast enough. The only person in his house that uses windows is his wife...His kids all have to use linux. Ive used it enough to see that its not as bad as ppl think, but I wouldnt make the conversion myself. The main reason is that many proggys that are built for windows dont run on linux. Yes, Ive heard of those programs that will allow that, but its nic
Im using PhotoS 7 but I see what you mean anyway...Thx Zodiaq~
I hate to admit that I dont know something...Especially when it comes to computers/software.. But anyway, what is a good way to make triangle shaped buttons in photoshop? I only see the tools...Rectangle, rounded rectangle, ellipse, polygon, line, and 'custom' shape. No triangle tool. I know it can be done. I just dont know how...
We tried to get DSL first, but it turns its not avaliable...And like I said earlier, the only other option besides cable is Dialup...(Im running on a temporary dial-up connection now) Dang that sounds fast... 2000+ kb/sec...our old DSL had about 560 kb/sec download and about 340 kb/sec upload. I dunno what Ill do with all that bandwidth...
