Roadrunner cable... in WinCustomize Talk WinCustomize Forums

We've recently moved (Im back!) and are getting set up with Time warner's roadrunner cable... Since its gonna either be that or dial up, (And Im NOT going back to dial-up...) I dont have much of a choice. I AM, however, curious about the specs...Ppl tell my it had blazing fast download speeds...but sluggish upload speeds... Anyone here have any input/use Roadrunner? And what can I expect (on average) to be the up/download speeds?

Being a person who has never used a fx card that had more than 4mb vram, I cant really help you. Tho, I have no trouble with bryce and movies running on this comp here... (IBM Netvista, 1300mhz celeron, 128mb ram, 4mb some intel vid card) But then again, I dont play too many graphic intensive games like Unreal Tournament so, I dont really need a great card. MS paint... Hey, its not sooo bad. I did a cursor thats gotten over 1200 downloads using it. Its biggest advantage is thats its VERY easy to use. Tho, it has almost no special features like photoshop/paint shop/gimp have.

One thing tho, make sure the frames are squares, witht the width the same distance as the height. (I find 40x40 pixels big enough, but thats just me)
