120 views and not a single reply... I have since tried to install start8 on another windows 8.1 PC and had the exact same result. I shall assume Start8 is dead and use classic shell instead. Thanks for all the support.

Hi. I have been using Start8 on my windows 8.1 laptop for way over a year now and love it, it works perfectly on this computer and wouldn't go back. I installed a fresh copy of windows 8.1 on a PC i had floating about and immediately installed Start8. Upon activation it instantly locked the PC up completely, the start button disappears in the bottom left and i cant even ctrl+alt+del. i have left it over an hour and nothing. I am left with no option bu
